Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service - Training & Development Academy

Hello and welcome back to another video from Drone Of Discovery.
In today's video we are visiting the Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service brand new Training & Development Academy located on Long Lane in Liverpool.

This new site has been built and 3 fire stations have moved from their old locations into this new firestation.
The firestations that are closing or closed are Croxteth, Longmoor Lane and Aintree.
This is an amazing site, not only does it have lots of renewable energy systems but also has electric car charging parking, and lots of things to get the best out of firefighters and search and rescue teams of the future.
They can create search and rescue scenarios for homes, flats, train, motorway, road accidents, demolition / rubble, airport to name a few.
This site is very impressive.
We are looking forward to revisiting when it is fully complete.

It was only 2 fire stations that merged together to create this one-Aintree & Croxteth Fire Stations. “Longmoor Lane” was the road the old Aintree Fire Station was situated on. 😊😊

Oh right, thanks for the update....I only mentioned three as a fireman I know said it was three that had gone in there and named them as that.
