When I was younger, I only knew this song either as "I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee" or Raffi's "A Peanut Butter Sandwich Made with Jam".
Thank you so much for videos like this. I've seen every looney tunes and Merrie Melodies and gave heard these so fa hundreds of times yet never knew their name.❤
So that’s what the song is called
it’s in the title Arkansas traveler
@@KashiusSorrell-kb3pe I know, I was just expressing my surprise that “Arkansas Traveler” is what the song is called. I’ve heard it all the time and never knew what it was called until now.
For years I've always thought the title of the song was always some variant of "Baby Bumblebee" (i.e. "I've Caught a Little Baby Bumblebee", "I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee" etc)

I didn't know it was named after Arkansas. I used to live in that state and it still holds a spot in my heart.

I wonder if the clip from "The Bashful Buzzard" (14:13) was the origin of the "baby bumblebee" lyrics, or if they were already in use.
That song was made in 1912 so it was already in use
@@maddocharris5409 The "baby bumblebee" lyrics were created in 1912?
@@jvgreendarmok I googled it, and yes
13:59 Giggity
8:21 What is the name of the waltz that plays in the background?
"Sobre las olas"
Farm Frolics also features the song. Might be a deleted scene?
Yes, it plays during the scene that was cut from the shorts reissue which has the grasshopper spit tobacco.
This song is all over « Gold Diggers of ‘49 » . I’m guessing it had too much copyright issues to upload?
I think the song you're thinking of is "Rural Rhythm", a different song.
Uh, why were there animals in their beads?
Where?
Cause wealthy people look down on people who sleep with their pets. :)

So what
@@zaku32888 It's not. It's a hillbilly song associated with Arkansas.
