I think it fits lelouch perfectly. Despite his acts as zero his goal is peace just like what his friends want. His actions are debatable but so many times in the show at least up to what I've seen (episode 14 of r2) he is constantly questioning his decisions and telling himself he cant turn back. I think this song reflects what he feels and keeps inside because he has to do what others want to vut dont have the means too like him with his geass and c.c help.
