Thanks for this video. Glad you posted it. It is certainty helpful.
We know filming and editing takes time and we appreciated this effort.
Saved this video for reference once we get to where you guys are in the journey.
Thanks for the honest build video.
Can't be said enough.
Looks like too many people are afraid of giving a honest review. You can sense hesitation or reservation sometimes but more often than not people work around the issues and five a 5-star review and recommendation...
You’re welcome! If I’m making a video I want to be transparent even if I look silly. 😆 I’m hoping there are others than can find help from this imperfect person. ❤️
Thanks for sharing. The blooper at the end is so me. 🙂
I love this chicken tractor! You did a wonderful job !
Wow. Amazing! You gave me the confidence to jump in. 😉
Good job! I've built a few of these. The half lap joints add a lot of time to the project. I used a table saw with a dado blade. I also struggled with the conduit. I ended up cutting it and using 45 degree connectors. A little more money but worth it for me. Hardware cloth everywhere for me.

Your bending part very helpful
That was a great build. I've got ten black australorps that I have living in a 100sqft dog kennel with a henhouse built in,but I'm wanting to try some cornish cross meat birds and I think this would be a great way to keep 25 birds moving around my yard for 4 or 5 weeks til it's time for processing.
Well done! Thanks for the video.
Great job! Thanks for the tips!
Thank you very much!
The video sure helped ❤
Great video!!! Great job, im glad you showed the nest box and roosting options.. I'm definitely going to do that.. I didn't build mine on flat ground as I should have.. I'm having trouble squaring the bottom now.. how much wood should extend from all four bottom angles??. Please help..
Don't half lap the front or rear 2x4, if the front or rear door catch on a rock or root; it is a failure point.
Great video. You did a fine job. How long is that tractor?
Great video! Which size of cart wheels did you use? I only find size 8 inches and 10 inches but not 9 inches
If I can only use those for which size you recommend?
I wonder if the lids that were on those containers could be cut and snapped back on?
Thanks for this. I just finished building one of these. The plans were great, until you get to the door. Never did figure out how it was supposed to work, I ended up lap jointing the four corners of door and top two corners of the frame instead of the 45 brackets.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! I was losing my mind trying to get the conduit bent so that both sides were even. After multiple attempts, trying different offsets, calculating things, it still didn't work. Your suggestion worked perfectly! You made my day and restored my sanity (or what little I have left). Great video overall, thank you again!!!
So glad to hear that. I want to make another tractor and if I ever get around to it I will have to rewatch my own video because I don’t even remember how I did it. So glad it helped. ❤
how do you set the circular saw to a depth?
We use #aluminumchickentractor from #naturalgramma
In Missouri
How many days did it take to build it?
The plans are mediocre at best ! Stress free sure isn’t in the building of the chicken tractor! He says follow the pictures and that doesn’t help! For the price he is charging for the plans he really needs to redo them! Im no beginner carpenter by any means but these plans need serious work! Glad you explained it more 👍🏼
The half lap joints should be left to the pros. Suscovich is wrong to recommend them.
Glue will help your joints stay strong and tight
You did a really nice job with that. God bless you and your.
