I watched this video, 25% sucrose is high osmolality solution, use only few drops to make the baby suck, followed by giving pacifier to continue to suck,the sweetness of sucrose stimulates the sucking reflex which releases the endogenous opioid from the brain to forget the pain within 2 minutes Next point is, the effect of sucrose last for 2 minutes only ,please donot give 2 mls before any procedure to infants,it will cause hyperglycaemia and can cause NEC too The next point is putting gauge into the baby mouth is not accepted at all to limit or stop the cry ,please correct it
