Something i just realized: Crash 2 and 3 uses the same model as crashes burned model from crash 1 the moment crash disintegrates. If you pause right before crash disintergrates completely. You will see the original model.

If Beenox ever made a CTR Nitro Fueled skin of Crash Bandicoot when he is burnt, might as well call him Crispy Crash. Saying that, it would be futile anyway since he sometimes gets burnt anyway.
