Charity Work For a Lovely Lady.

I am re posting this video in a shorter version. The original video was an hour long so I hope you all enjoy this one better.
For those of you who haven't seen this video, here is what I did.
I saw an opportunity to help someone and I took it.
Let me tell you a little story about Jane. She's a very sweet elderly lady who lives in her home that she built over 40 years ago. She hasn't been physically able to keep up with exterior of her home for quite some time and things had become overwhelming. She called me to have a look and to give her a bid for some cleaning and I could tell she didn't know where to begin. So, I told her not to worry, I'll get things looking nice and she won't have to budget for it. Yup, I did it at no cost. Now she can focus on other things that are needing done.
This project took me 9 hours to complete and I would do it again just to get another reaction like Jane gave me.

I’ve never seen so much moss in my region. I almost forget you’re in the US and that makes me appreciate the different environments we have here!

Watched the long and this shorter version; so wonderful and appreciated. So agree with your desire to do what one can to assist elders, so as to allow them to live where they love the surroundings that mean so much to them. I know very few wealthy people, those able to hire "everything" done. Far more DYI folks, but even those who once partnered to get it all done, as those who "did it all" on their own, eventually wear out. Thanks again for caring. Kris in MN

That was kind to offer to help the owner overcome the Overwhelm level in her yard. The ground juniper needing to be cut back was a surprise. Hadn't caught how much space it had covered beyond what it was planned for. The removal of the moss was important. I imagine it makes terrain less even and becomes more of a trip risk. 7:53, a nice change in color as you start cleaning. I'm impressed by your choices as you work. This was a property with some large areas and in picking large areas to clean, they pack big changes. Also, the deck didn't look like it could change much from a poor condition and your cleaning really was a renewal. Thank you for being the hands and feet for someone who needed the help.

Is this a re-upload or is my mind playing tricks? Either way, it was super satisfying to watch so i watched it again. The end result looks lovely and i hope the lady still enjoys her slime free deck this summer.

@@noahark200 it’s her family home for 40 years, she’s not able to physically take care of it, can’t afford to have it professionally done. Sure she could sell the house and move into an old folks home but that is not how I would want to go so if this helps her stay in her home comfortably for a little longer then mission accomplished.
