An awesome event and their Runx RSi's were showing strong numbers on the Dyno, classes were as follows: Stock ECU, Chipped ECU and Stand-alone Management System. For all those who want to know what the strongest one made: 171KW

2zz ge engine is so underrated but it legendary
2zz-ge really is, I mean it has the perfect double sided personality, docile enough as a daily driver in low rpm and a BEAST in the hi-revs.

I'm averaging 6.25L/100ks with my 2zzge. That's mainly in 6th with 80-100kph for the majority of the journey. I got 800ks from 50 litres of fuel. The economy suffers when I give it the beans but I can still manage well over 700ks with regular lift.

We didn't officially get the Celica with the ZZ engine in South Africa, but there are one or two roaming around, very rare here.

I currently own a standard Toyota Runx 1.4 RT old spec. I need y'all to hook me up to turn it into a beast. From power, flames and all that I'm seeing in this clip. Any advices on where to start and which engine to put?

What KW stock ZZ cars putting down? What fuel you run there?
Stock Kw is 141Kw and the fuel is rated at 95 octane.
Nice vid. I would have loved to see some numbers and mod list for the cars.
Next time I'll try and add the numbers at least because people don't always share their mods list.

Hi Muzzammil, I believe it's the standard blue that the old spec Runx came out in.
Does strongest one have a worked engine?
I'm not sure about how worked it is, but the extent I do know is that, it has cams in and running management.

What mods are good to make power on this engine ?
I think I've said it in other comments on this video but, exhaust system, headers, a nice cold air induction kit. Ported intake, port and polish on the head. Then the real power will be seen when you drop a set of aftermarket camshafts in the head and all the supporting modifications listed before will compliment the cams and headwork. Full management system will help with tuning as well.

@@Gofast1234 not a problem at all man, check out monkey wrench racing and piper cams in uk makes cams for that model car so you're actually in the correct place in the world to make some decent power from it.

@@jono9819 exhaust system, headers, induction kit, some headwork and it had cams. I'm not sure of the fuel unfortunately.
@Oscar Wilde nah in South Africa we measure power in Kilowatts 🤝 so that's 171kw at the wheels.

Very cool cars here in UK we have a lot of non T Sports on the road 1.6 and diesel models very rare car T sport here you must have loads of Runx in your country
In UK you guys were lucky to get the supercharged version of the 2zz-ge we never got that here unfortunately or the diesel models, but yes we have loads of Runx on the road here.
@@akeelhassanvideo The supercharged version that is a car that is very rare ive only seen one here they are hidden, is there much difference between Runx and supercharged version the car im using is 1.6 family owned car from New 2005 drives really good like new to good of a car to sell. Great videos always.
@@DannyT636 yeah it's very rare it was badged as a Corolla Compressor T-sport I had the opportunity of sitting in a T-sport when I did a shoot of an imported one hey and it even has traction control. Has a different cluster gauge as well and seats are the special material ones.

This is a great idea, I wonder too why nobody has thought to go 2zz-ge in a rear wheel drive format. Also in my opinion, if the last spec Celica was rear wheel drive that really would've changed the game.

No you have to connect a piggyback chip to alter timing, fuel trims. 🤝

This video would have been better if the cars were parked up or driving by. Showing a car going on a dyno and not showing the results serves no purpose. So what ! We know they all carry a 2ZZ-GE !!
Brother, this was a Dyno Day video, obviously I'm going to show the car on the Dyno for the owners to see it. This is not a show video where I would have done what you are saying above, if you do want to see the figures I can put them up in a post on the community page.
