Absolute truth
Another one worth mentioning is George Takei vs. William Shatner(Star Trek franchise). For decades, George has been very outspoken about William being very difficult to work with and has acknowledged that he and William hated each other for a long time.
Shatner was a homophobe.
The difference being nobody else has ever had an issue working with Takei where Bill has a LONG list of people who have openly stated they will NEVER work with him again. I don`t think a single member of the TJ Hooker cast ever willingly worked with him again after that show for example.
Being a raging homophobic arsehat never endears you to others, for sure. Glad Shatner cancelled himself, Takei is a class act in every way.
some actors have such inflated egos that being in the same room can be exhausting.
They weren't co-stars, but Kevin Smith and Bruce Willis hated each other during the filming of Smith's movie Cop Out. Up until they were working together, Smith had been a massive fan of Willis in other films and according to him, Willis was extremely hard to work with and said that it disappointed him to see Willis behaving like a diva and gave him a real "never meet your heroes" moment. Thankfully the feud has died down after Willis retired from acting due to his aphasia diagnosis and Smith has wished Willis a happy and safe retirement.
Shows that there's valso a ton of factors to consider, like a person's circumstance you know. & like with Tim Allen, have heard a few bad things, but also great things, some people.are more charming & people playing & nobody has an issue with, some are mediocre, like nobody hates but loves either, others have very strong personalities, & are the bovril/bagpipes type where you absolutely get on with them ir despise them

Rebel Wilson is a proven liar and I say this as someone who loves her as a performer. 7 years older than she publicly claims just as she claims her birth name was Rebel (it's Melaine). Not so bad but saying she was brought up in a rough and dangerous ghetto neighbourhood when she had a life of upper middle class comfort in Sydney to seem cool is pretty shitty. I could go on (she's famously dismissive with those lower down the cast list). A wonderful talent but I'd take anything she says with a barrel of salt.
She also lied about having malaria.
There are some that just give off an air, Hatcher, Michelle, Milano, and definitely Allen. Lea Michelle is a classic mean girl, better than all. She wasn't even the most talented on the set. Which I feel is why she was so hateful. I will say that it was disappointing when I realized what a jerk Chevy Chase was.
I still say to this day that Glee should've been based around Santana (R.I.P. Naya Rivera) instead of Rachel. Santana was a far more compelling character and Rachel was more of a villain than Sue Sylvester ever was

We also know that before Paramount were desperate for reboots JL tried to con the cast to do a reboot for free to save her career and face when it was starting to come out that JL was a part of the unethical highly questionable conservatorship of her sister. I just read an article about Rebel Wilson and Sacha Baron Cohen's dispute, saying she was being body-shamed through her costumes she wore. It sounds like one of those 'he said, she said, scenarios.
Right upto the point Sacha released the uncut footage of the discussions on set that SHOW she was suggesting some of the stuff she blames on him.

In fact, when she was interviewed by CBS Sunday Morning, the narrator mentioned that more than 5 people who were there in the production of The Brothers Grimsby questioned about her accusations.
At the end of the day, this feels like Rebel wants to cancel Sacha.
Sacha comes from the ‘Bouffon’ school of satire, and he’s known to do method acting. I think that’s probably what happened between the two of them, and they just weren’t on the same page. Honestly, ‘method’ acting and fancy satire aren’t great excuses to act like an ass. I don’t think anything criminal happened, but this might be a good time for Cohen to take a look at how his comedy effects real people.

Nicollette Sheridan had the EXACT same problem with the cast of Knots Landing. She claims they all hated her. She’s the common denominator in that show and Desperate Housewives. She also tried suing one of the head producers on D.H. for how she was treated. Team Hatcher.
