some chords shown are totally different to what he's actually playing
that's because he's finger picking and not playing all the strings, so he doesn't have to play the full chord.
also there is more than one way to play a chord; like playing an "F" two frets higher up is the same as a "G" because that's how scales work.
don't worry, when you get better at guitar you will know these things too :^)
