DIY Carpet covers for RV steps

For under 10.00 dollars and a bit of my time we made a pair of carpet covers for our trailer steps. Using two mats form the Dollar store along with a grommet kit from Harbor Freight and a few tools this was a quick and easy project. Now we are not burning our bare feet as we walk into the trailer on hot days, or dog is able to climb into the trailer without having her feet slip out from under her.

They worked great, we have since upgraded our steps to the Torklift Glowstep revolution and now we are adding non skid to them.
