I've had so many gloves over the last 30 years, but my favourites were APG about 25 years ago. They came with a thick glue already applied, just had to remove the film. First pair I pat them together before catching the ball and couldn't separate them. They were flipping awesome.

Quick tips make sure to do ruff run sheet , have a clock on the table that you can see , allow for a break to have a good second to catch your breath , don’t force the conversation. Look forward to so more episodes in the future

Great video - I used to use urg 1.0 latex but literally get 3 games without them being killed. Got 4 pairs but gave up due to expense.
Moved onto uhlsport supergrip plus - similar performance with much better durability

I'm a glove fiend too. I like my gloves wet, I'd prefer them to always be tacky, but I find if you start a game with the right level of tack, within 10-15 minutes they're too dry. Whether it's just me or not, but in that case I would rather have a glove that was too wet than risk one that dries out, it's somehow more predictable, even if the grip levels are slightly down. I don't want a shot coming in and in my mind I'm working out whether the glove is too dry and whether I should catch or parry.
I love the adidas fingertips from about 20 years ago now, Richard Wright style, they were the best design I felt, but they moved away from them after only a few seasons. The style where the tips are folded over at the tops and the fingers and thumbs were rolled round, so a seam never came within a mile of a ball. They missed a bit of relief or embossing in the palm, but other than that. Spot on!

I loved Uhlsport Supergrips, fantastic overall gloves, Predator pro is nice, but two weeks into using the grip goes and they get destroyed very easily, recently bought a pair of West Coast Goalkeeping gloves on salw "Exo skin Marleys" and they blew me away with latex and grip, price and overall feeling, probably has to do with my hand and the way the glove is made but it is a perfect match and its never been easier to catch a ball, highly recommend

He wears size 8???? Really???? I wear this size when I go for a negative cut and I'm 6 inches shorter than him, so I presume that his hands are bigger than mine! It's either that Adidas has a completely different scale from everyone else, or that these gloves magically expand upon wearing them!
