Absolutely stunning! My mom was a little white lady from Germany. She started doing hair in her teens. She was fascinated by African American people and culture and LOVED black hair. I used to watch her do my sisters hair very often( we are mixed, of course) and she was amazing. After we moved stateside she started doing hair for our neighbors of varying nationality, but she was well known for her ability to press and style black hair. I wish she were still here today to see this video. She would have loved it!

Janay you really are Heaven-Sent. Your ability to handle natural 4c hair is amazing! My experience… every salon I’ve been to in the past would see hair like this and say “you need a relaxer”
Omg someone told me that and I have 4C hair, it kinda hurt my feelings a bit! I hate someone else went through it as well!
That was not 4C hair
And that has scarred so many black women mentally. Whatever type of hair you have you shouldn't be coerced into a relaxer if you don't want that .
That is very frustrating. I remember those days.
