@@the-under-dog2198 image is not nearly as good as all creators made it out to be. Home screen where you have to select games is about 480p. I have tried some of the demos. But I get eye strain too bad within about 10 minutes.
It’s nice seeing the optimism in the comments. I was an early adopter on the original psvr and remember how negative the comments were by people who didn’t even try it out first. I am just as excited if not more for the psvr2!!
Been a supporter of VR from 2016 and yes it's insane how negative the comments were back then.
They still are negative comments but it has gone from 90% hate down to like 30%. Never seen people more mad at a technology in my life.
I held of yo get the PSVR2 even though I had the move controllers and the camera. I just felt like k needed the tech to mature

@@spacedout4061 To achieve graphics like Horizon: Call Of The Mountain on PC you'd need a graphics card the price of a PS5! lol. And the PS5 is rendering two screens at once so others can watch the TV. So good 👌
But there's not many good games on ps vr unlike the vive and other pc vrs

i dont think people realize what an upgrade this truly is from the last PSVR headset. the last one, while it did have some impressive games, still had a lower res screen in the headset and was blurry in most games. gave me eye strain. but the PSVR2 has double or slightly more for resolution this time and 60-120fps capable. HDR lighting in games, higher resolution textures in games, higher frame rates.. the games will look way different, and way better this time. having haptic feed back in the VR2 controllers will be an experience, and also dont forget the headset can rumble during gameplay, too! im lookin forward to better graphics, less if any eye strain, and hopefully seeing many current games get support for VR2. such as gta 5, minecraft, rush of blood, dead by daylight, R6 extraction, deep rock galactic, hell let loose, fall guys and more. game devs could port their current games to the VR2 and and pad out the library even further. i hope newer games coming soon will support VR2 at some point, games like Dead Island 2.

@Jimbo Bimbo minecraft already supports VR on the PS4/5 with the first VR helmet.
@Jimbo Bimbo we cant even get mojang to pop out ray tracing upgrade for ps5 OR xbox next gen consoles.. but i betcha they do an update for psvr2 even if just to run the game at 60fps or higher in the headset. minecraft made me woozy for some reason in VR1. maybe VR2 will remedy that.
I love my PSVR 2 and I hope that it reigns in a new dawn for VR.
It is truly an amazing experience.

@@grahamkelly8662 I wouldn’t say PS5 was a slight upgrade, it was a huge leap forward. Also the Duelsense is fantastic for PS5 so I’m beyond excited seeing the same features come to the PSVR2 Sense controllers
Same! This is the only reason I got a PS5, but I’m glad I did because all they have so many amazing games that Xbox can’t come close to anymore, and I’m a huge Xbox fan.
@@grahamkelly8662it’s a HUGE upgrade, but you’re just comparing the end of the PS4 life cycle, with the beginning of the PS5 life cycle. You’ll notice the difference in a few more years, if you haven’t already.

I'm supposed to be getting mine on the 22nd, according to the delivery date.. I received from Sony/UPS..but I'm kinda worried about the fact that the controllers won't be charged enough for me to play. And I REALLY don't want to wait for them to charge! ☹️

I really enjoyed the instructive animations :). I'm so excited!!! No more reaching blindly for my move controllers! No more 30 min setup with 40 cables and an awkward camera. I already downloaded Pavlov and a bunch of demos. I've wanted to play Pavlov for years!
This is why i will always have a playstation even if you remove the great first party games, i love how they always try to elevate the way we play as gamers.

@@namegoeshere197 it has solid launch games I personally can’t wait to play Resident Evil Village, GT7, Song in the smoke, Call of the mountain, Moss, Kayak Vr, No man sky and After the Fall. TWD S&S and Switchback also look great but are delayed for a few weeks.

I am an oldster and can barely qualify as a casual gamer. But I have a Quest 2 and like it and am totally open to getting the PS5 with VR. I think I like that you stand and move in the games. Prescription lenses are a big issue. Have them for the Quest, using the distance Rx from my progressive lenses.

Feature request: Have Function button single press for un/mute. Double press for pass through enable/disable.
Or press/hold, like the press to mute mic, hold to mute all audio feature on the PS5 controller.

I’d they don’t add this for now you could make the function button the mute button, as all you need to do for passthrough is double tap the PlayStation button and press x. It ends up being faster anyways due to how little time it takes to execute the action

I love that u mention using ur own wireless headset coz i was under the impression u had to use the crappy buds that came with it. Ive watched a million psvr2 videos and none of them mentioned this. I was getting worried as i just got a new pair of 7p's lol cheers buddy! 👊

@@michaelscholfield7588 if there was a problem with my card, do you know if Sony will email me? When I tried to check card details, yesterday, it would only let me add or remove card. I was more or less certain that I put correct card details. I tried again today and it don’t even have that option. Not sure if they cancelled it.

But what I do is assign the mute button to the function button, because all you have to do to go into passthrough is double tap the PlayStation button and then hit x. Takes the same amount of time as pressing the button anyway as you could do that action very quickly

Im saving for spoilers and saving up, of PSVR2 I love PSVR and will LOVE PSVR2 as I did growup with PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PSP and PS5 (All I still own) and love how the presentation 0of the hardware and software changes while retaining the OG and what makes PlayStation great for gamers, thank you PlayStation for the videos, software, and hardware u all deliver for all next gen experiance.

I got mine on Saturday afternoon in the mail. Sony makes you sign for it so I was getting ready to head out the door cuz I already had pre-made plans and luckily FedEx showed up.
My first VR if you don't count the Samsung one where you strap your phone to your forehead.
Takes a while to get used to it. Hurts my nose and hurt my head happening on but every time I think I have it set perfectly I take it off and it resets
I played it a lot today and it's amazing especially horizon. It's going to take some getting used to in my arms are already worn out because there's a lot of climbing.
I left the house and I came back and I wanted to play it and I went to turn it on and it didn't turn on I didn't realize there was a power plug in the front and if that becomes unplugged it's a pain in the butt to get back in. But I was panicking thinking I broke it already but just an FYI if it becomes loose
Watching this for hype, this is my starter in preparation for the main course next week! Why just one non-split charging cable though?
the PS5 comes with one so that makes two, one for each controller

@@visorrepublicthere’s 3 standard USB ports on the PS5. But if you want to charge the VR controllers together either use a cable for each or get the charging dock which does both at the same time.

Mine works fine. What I don't get is why they show the player facing the TV? If you turn the opposite side and put the cable behind your back the cable doesn't get in the way, unless you spin around. Better to use snap-turning for that.
Will there be a VR sense controller replacement or a patch to fix it's lack of use when trying to play a VR game?

Im was so thirsty for my VR2 bundle to arrive I bought a used Quest 2 for $200 shipped. My prior VR experience is only PSVR 1. Already own a stacked line up...Horizon, Re8, Kayak Mirage, GT7 and cheap Wheel and a few of my psvr1 games will be ported.

1:19 Yes I got the Inzone H7's when it was half off during black Friday hoping it would work on the VR 2. I've watched 3 reviews of this headset today and 2 of them failed to mention this and the other one sorta confirmed it.
It shouldn't be a problem. As the headset connects to your PS5, not the PSVR2.

How do you get HDMI Device as your Audio Output? Sometimes, when I put the headset on, it removes all options and forces audio to PSVR2 headphone jack.

Mine just arrived but wouln't power on :( have to return it and wait for a new one.
So the wireless charging station comes with 2 x USB-C magnetic clips that insert into the controller and snap on to the charging dock when the Sense controllers are placed on. These are absolutely tiny and hard to remove, you definitely need a fingernail. I was wondering if they can be left in the sense controllers while playing? They are not charging and nearly act the same as a usb dust cap would. Thanks

My psvr2 cant track my movement right and its like always moveing i tried recalibrating the cameras and i put on the tracink support but nothing helped.What do i need to do?
So I'm having issues where the view is glitchy but smooth and clear where it's not sensing where I'm actually at ..not sure if it's a camera or a camera issue ..but my game is not blurry at all so that's not the issue
Can't figure out how to get surround sound after activating VR2. Only sound option is headphones. My surround sound speakers still function, but only 2 of the 7 are active

1:42 you meant, one size fits most. I have a big nose and my eyes are close together. I had to install my own foam pads in order to see the display as clear as possible and to not get a red bump on my nose. Sony, I'm surprised you did not install any padding on the inside edges of the lenses. After my rudimentary addition, I could wear the headset for hours now.
I have a question how to transfer your PlayStation plus game data your physical copy
can you play regular games with the normal sense controller as though on a massive screen (like with psvr 1).... is this also compatible with 3d blurau movies? Can i still use the media apps (netflix etc).

Yes
If it's anything like the quest 2, you'll be able to set up roomscale at any size, however if your play area isn't very big, you'll keep seeing the playarea walls appear in game. On Q2, moving beyond the boundary wall you've set up changes the view to pass-through so you can see your room and not the game. PSVR2 will likely be similar.

I bought two different headphones for the psvr 2 neither of them worked so i gave up and bought the sony plus 3d headphones and then my siter broke thos so now im stuck broke with no heapphones and a vr headset
Ich folge jeden Punkt der Einrichtung, aber beim zocken verstellt sich alles wieder und ich sehe nichts. bei GT7, erst schaue ich über das Lenkrad, sehe alles perfekt und plötzlich bin ich unten dem Lenkrad. Muss dann wieder neu einrichten. alle 2min. Speichert das ding nichts ab? Kurz vor den zurück schicken.

Having an issue with my PSVR 2 Sense controller not working in games. My problem is with the Right Sense controller not acknowledging button clicks in game. Only work around is performing a hard reset of the controller while the game is open and then reconnecting. I have to do this with every new game session. I know this is a common problem with a lot of people. Like this comment if you have the same issue so we can get visibility on this issue so Sony can fix it.
