Once you learn how to play fingerstyle, go back to the pick and practice switching back and forth. You can do CRAZY stuff switching back n forth. I'm still workin on it, takes me half a second (which is too long) but some folks do it instantly. Look up Chris Buck

They got several songs I like but as far as the whole vibe and feel of it I just don't relate emotionally. I did like that song they did with Steve Vai which he's also hard for me to listen to as well. Idk really cool style tho, reminds me of a lot of Japanese funk players like fomo Fujita but heavier and more math rock influenced. His nylon string signature looks dope tho. But yea I do so much palm muting that I naturally do it but I'm also doing wayyyy simpler things then Tim Henson. Only found him a few months ago and he did get me thinking and trying a few new things, mostly using harmonics as ghost notes and also he's really good at being efficient with his motions.
