Yes, this a rather long travel trailer walk through. Any suggestions? Thanks for subscribing.
3,000 pound hitch? More like 300!!!
This is a 30 amp TT?? Should've been a 50! More air conditioning is needed. Especially, in Tejas!
Nice trailer, but since they were bought by REV group Lance has significantly cut back on the quality of their upholstery/cushions.The totally rectangular cushions in the dinette are the prime example. I checked the Western Campers web site. The MSRP on that trailer is just under $90K. They say call for price, but based on the prices for other units I would say that is a $70K+ camper. Definitely not cheap. Personally if I was looking for a Lance I would buy a used one from 2017-2019 vintage before they effectively doubled their prices. Why, well here in Maine every year we have to pay excise tax based on MSRP when we register a trailer and get plates. In the first year that tax is 2.4%. After 6 years it bottoms out at 0.4%. so that trailer would cost about $2,200 to register the first year and after 6 years would still cost $400/yr. An older Lance would have an MSRP under $50K, so annual registration/excise tax would be under $200. Plus from the looks of the trailers, the older Lance rigs are better built.
@@todddunn945 in Texas, I don't pay much for the annual sticker. Like I said. If you can afford it?? A similar size Airstream is $100k. Not a fan.
Tomorrow I'll again be looking at the Coachmen Cross Trail and Thor Gemini. Both under 25 foot motorhomes. MSRP, $160k. After discounts about $125k. A year and a half in the lot. $100k! Still too pricy for me. Yes, I could pay cash. But I won't. Maybe another motorhome will catch my eye. We'll see!
@@RVTA try to find one to look at that is plugged in with the AC running.
@@todddunn945 TD you are brilliant!! Mañana!!
