no i thought a goat took his friend because of hunger and the airline that they flew with somehow knew about the goats plans but they couldn't do anything about it because it was already sealed in fate.
I hobestly thought the friend was a drug dealer that moved to belize and disappeared there to avoid the law, because whenever I hear about Belize I hear about mobsters running away there 🤣
I thought he was going to say he got lost in the Bermuda triangle, because I know that's somewhere near Belize.

I have to say though, I’m very glad Kevin seems to be past such a dark part of his life. Drug addiction leads to terrible things and if he got clean of it and found a better life for himself I’m happy for him. I hope he finds a way to apologise and make good with people from his past without risking his mental health and a relapse.
That hit me hard because I know many people who have died or had cancer in their life and for someone to lie about it sucks and enrages me 😞

My ex best friend lied to me for years about having several kinds of cancer and still does to this day. Meanwhile my aunt survived breast cancer and the uncle of my SO died from gastric cancer. This just hurts so much and I don’t know why she started it and why she still continues to do so.
My cousin died of lymphoma at a young age and this pisses me off too. The message behind this story tho... is very beautiful.
my dad died of brain cancer at 46. i felt for “kevin” so badly. i know how hard it can be. it’s so disappointing that someone would fake something like that.

I didn’t expect to watch this video and hear him talk about having crohns because as someone who has it that really made me happy and I’m always excited to hear people talk about their experiences because they’re usually something that I can relate to

I have to say this... As an addict in recovery , being in active addiction is like being trapped in a cycle of death and pain and loneliness . Although lying is never the answer , I almost have deep compassion for Kevin. He probably was looking for human interaction and support. I know from experience that if you tell someone you are addicted to drugs, you will rarely be met with love and affection and understanding . However , if you tell someone you are suffering from a “real” illness (which I believe addiction is, but others don’t ), you instantly receive the love you are looking for . The reaction from my friends when I told them I was in the hospital after having 20 seizures in a row from my epilepsy was vastly different from when I told them I relapsed . When it came to the seizures , I received calls and visits and flowers. When I relapsed , nobody called, nobody reached out.
Sorry for the long post- just had to get this out. Again, lying is never ok... But let’s try to remember that addiction is a disease that kills thousands every year , and it’s a terrifying and lonely trap. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

When he said he only had 6 months to live because of cancer that hit me hard. When you have a family member that has suffered from cancer this hits you very hard. But when you lie about having cancer? That hurts.

Yup. My dads ex lied about having brain cancer when they were dating so she could continue her pain killer addiction. I was 12 and she had 2 younger girls at the time. I understand the anger.
