Gabriel was Kody's youngest son for about 10 years before Solomon was born. I think he was Kody's golden boy when he was small, then was discarded when Solomon came along and Kody had his new/last son with his favorite wife. Gabriel has been neglected, rejected and ignored for the last decade+. The other boys always had another little brother come along pretty quickly behind them, so they didn't have as much time to be the prized son like Gabe did. I think that is why it is effecting him more deeply than some of the other sons. He is totally within his rights to feel how he is feeling. He seems like a great young man that Kody is really missing out on(like most of his other siblings). Kody=tool, Gabe=amazing.

I am a retired nurse, when Kody said that he was going to admit himself to the hospital, I was floored! That's not how it works. Robin never was admitted to a room at the hospital. It appears she was just in ER. She wasn't even on oxygen!

Also he said people only go to the hospital to die. What a jerk. I agree Robin did not have 02, a monitor, or anything.
I am an ICU RN and have worked with COVID patients since the beginning. She could still talk even with being short of breath. Also she wasn’t on any oxygen. Her head of bed wasn’t up at a 90 degree level. She didn’t even talk about the COVID protocol that she would have gone through. Not to mention the other symptoms that she would be experiencing. Also, with K saying that you go to the hospital you die. I guess he forgot that some of his kids and Grandchildren have been born in the hospital. Not to mention I remember when Truely had to go into the hospital when she was very sick and her kidneys were shutting down & she survived thanks to the hospital. Do you think they have had the vaccines for COVID? If you are at a risk for COVID then get the VACCINES!! Don’t risk losing your family for this.
I am also an Rn and neither Kody or Robyn were I'll enough to actually be admitted to the hospital!!! Certain criteria has to be met before a person is admitted .

2 of my kids worked on ambulances during the worst times. Robyn was not wasting nor was she in any danger of death. She was exactly the type that clogged up hospitals and wasted resources.

I am a nurse and was hospitalized twice for days in Jan 2020. IF Robyn had been truly in respiratory distress she sure as back would NOT have a mask on and be filming herself!!! Freak
This is exactly right, she didn't even have oxygen! She was fine, sick but fine and Kody Id be hell bent to even think he had it, that man looked fit as a fiddle.
She is so dramatic...it was just a strong cold for her and she played it up. She could have waited to see her GP vs clogging up the ER. And she is so doom and gloom why is she scaring those kids like that?
I was wondering what insurance she has. I wonder if they have access to screen actors guild insurance. Otherwise aren’t these ppl chronically uninsured.

It was straight up weird. I quarantined when I had it and I love my kids but I didn't "sob" because I didn't see them. I would talk to them thru a door or they would call me. It wasn't some devastating event. There's under the same dang roof. It was cringy.
I think he’s grooming Robyn’s girls to be his wives. He kisses them on the mouth and everything. Just so gross!!!

My daughters family had covid. I personally had many risk factors for severe covid. However something happened health wise with one of my grandchildren so the parents had to ago the hospital with that child for a couple of days, because once in they could not leave as they both had covid. I went to look after my other granddaughter knowing I would get Covid. I went anyway because your kids and grandkids are EVERYTHING. Anyway I did get covid but I survived
Kody is the lowest of the low!! Shame on him for treating people the way he does. He is going to end up financially broke, with none of his children wanting anything to do with him , and properly alone since Robyn will leave him when he can no longer provide her with all she wants and has to go to work herself!!! She simply wants someone to take care of her and all her needs and support her without lifting a finger to contribute!!!! She is fooling no one,!!

@@pbpb-he6gx EXACTLY!!!! My husband got Covid from work and asked if he should quarantine. We have no kids of our own. I told him absolutely not. I would give my life for him in an instant. I took care of him and he took care of me the following week. We both had co-morbidities and I did NOT care.
As a mom of two sons (aged 18 & 20), my heart broke for Gabe, I wanted to give him a huge hug!

I wanted to punch him on Gabe's behalf. I honestly think that's why Kody is so adversarial with Gabe and Garrison because he treats their mom like crap and they are defending her. He manhood is threatened by the fact that his sons are stronger and more protective than he is towards Janelle.
If I had an address to send that kid a card I would send him one every single stinking year. I'm not a mom and I wanted to hug the stuffing out of him and tell him he's a good guy and it's going to be all right.
I always get the feeling that Robyn says she 'loves' the boys and Kody's other children because that's what 'good Sister Wives' are supposed to say. Every time she is contacted by one of them, she complains to Kody about being verbally abused by them. Then Kody berates the mother of that child and drama spirals. With the exception of Truely, all of the other kids are ADULTS. Yes, Savannah turns 18 this week. Past time for Robyn to get comfortable with uncomfortable conversations with her step-children. Every time she includes Kody she makes the chasm between Kody and his other kids wider. Note: Several of Kody's kids are no longer in contact with him. Gabriel is one of them. Crushing.

My heart breaks for Gabe. Gabe had covid in January 2021. Kody called him on October 11, 2021 because he wanted to learn more about covid for Robyn and Robyn's kids. Kody calls to take. He had not spoken to Gabe in months. Kody did not call back to wish him a happy birthday until someone told Kody to do so.
Gabe really seems to want to have a relationship with his dad and keeps being disappointed. It really was heartbreaking.
@@2legit64 yes!! It's so sad! I kept thinking of Gabe probably getting happy / excited when he saw Kody's number pop up and then how disappointed he must have been after knowing Kody didn't call to tell him happy birthday & only called for something about himself!
That tore my heart out to see Gabe break down and cry. Kody is losing his whole family and I believe Robyn may go in the end if she’s left with him alone. I really believe she only married him Meri May keep hanging on to no avail. She should’ve left him long ago. She only married him for support. The others leave she’ll lose her mansion.
Ysabel didn’t have Kody noticing her pain all those years, pain doing the exercises to save him money., there for hours during the surgery, there for after the surgery recovering, yet he is hours in truck which Robyn being checked in the ER? And weeks later can’t drive to Janelle’s for trick or treat. So much for no more social distancing.
That was wicked horrible!!! I couldn't believe it I was freaking out!!
The whole covid thing really triggered me. I had covid for 4 weeks and no way would I have been able to film me. They insulted the many people who really suffered due to covid. My sister was hospitalized and could not breath without assistance sadly she past away just 2 weeks after being admitted. I am not questioning Robyn not feeling well due to covid but it was not bad enough to waste 6 hours at the hospital with just your regular mask, no oxygen. The Gabe scene made it worse and my heart broke. I don’t care about the adults but Gabe it was heartbreaking.

@@RancherNikki thank you. It is just terrible how they miss use a very stretched emergency unit just to make a scene in this crazy show. Many of us know someone who was taken due to covid and it makes me angry to watch them manipulate something so tragic for personal gain. Thank you and John from Belgium 🇧🇪

Aurora had to separate for 10 days & Kody was upset. You have 13 other children, Kody. Sobyn was not even on oxygen and taped herself. Oh please. Kody saying he should check himself in like the hospital was a hotel. You don't decide the hospital does. Gabe talking about Kody not remembering his birthday was heart breaking. He has ruined his relationships with his children not the moms.

I went back & started binging from S1E1 and Season 3 is when Christine first mentions having issues with Robin….she is soooo cute and accommodating all the way through S7….which I’m currently on episode 8. And You can tell how hard Christine is trying. 🧡🧡🧡 all the best to that gracious lady.
I can't wait for the rewatch. From the beginning Robyn was conniving. She KNEW taking Kody to pick out her wedding dress was wrong, that's why she asked him not to tell the other wives. She KNEW kissing him before they were married was wrong. If she was so worried about showing the other wives she was "worthy" she would have got off her skinny butt and have gotten a JOB. NO, she can't leave her kids for a second. When she wouldn't let Christine babysit and hired a Nanny in Las Vegas the other wives should have called a family meeting and said, no. We don't do this. That's not this family's culture.
@@christinemyers9341 I stopped watching after season one because I did t think I could stomach what Robin was about to do to these people. Everything that’s happened (except the catfish!) I pretty much predicted. I’m a kid of a marriage where a Robin like woman swooped in and took my dad (and all his resources) for herself and her kids.

Janelle is definitely taking her own advice! Imo she's 100% planning to leave, but she's got to get her financial ducks in a row. Unfortunately, she's in quite a pickle thanks to Kody and Robyn's out of control spending.

Then there's countless others who capture every single detail on screen and off to go over with a fine-toothed comb. I can't get enough, and I've never actually seen an episode!

On one of the early shows they went to Kody's home town and talked to his High School classmates. One of them said that they thought Kody was gay. That might be why he has a problem with his manhood. Love you guys!
I am so enjoying watching him being so JEALOUS! Its historical! He so wants Janelle to choose him and not Christine. It's wonderful to watch!!!!
I was heartbroken for Gabe. He said that was the last time I spoke to my Dad. No reaction from Kody. Aurora was in the basement for 10 days. Kody was sobbing. What the actually F! BTW got 2 more books! Loving them. Easy to read and great storylines and characters.
It was Halloween 2021. It was for the cameras. Kody was trying to raise Robyn's likeability factor with the Sister Wives audience by saying that it was Robyn's idea. It was the first time ever that Kody got involved in Halloween with any of his kids. Christine posted about Halloween in 2022 in her Utah neighbourhood that she never knew that dad's participate in Halloween.
There was an episode in like season 1 or 2 about Halloween. Kody was the "sun" and then the ladies were the elements. But they made it a point to say they didn't trick or treat, from what I remember. They just had the kids carving pumpkins and stuff. My guess is they just didn't want to spend money on costumes for all the kids.
Some religions don’t celebrate Halloween. I’m sure the religion there were involved with is one that doesn’t celebrate it. Some people do it in secret some do what they did in season one. They tailored it to what they thought would be okay, acceptable to God. It sounds ridiculous but from a religiously brainwashed mindset it’s not. I totally get it because I was raised in a similar religious environment. Not polygamy! 😂
He is definitely trying to do damage control. I'm sure he and she are very aware that their fan base is dwindling. When Janelle goes. I will too.. I'm not sticking around for The Kody and Robyn show.

I thought last episode was bad but the Gabe part broke my heart I am a mother of five and I cried for this young man. Koty is the worst human and can’t claim he is a Dad.
Kody's inability to communicate... has anyone ever asked him to define "loyalty?" I don't think it means what he thinks it means.
Kody's reaction over not seeing one of Robyn's daughters for 10 days is not only weird but creepy AF. Screams unhealthy attachment. There is something very dysfunctional going on between Kody, Robyn and her kids. Something codependent and needs serious therapy.

I think Kody can’t stand staying with anyone very long. He uses Robyn as an excuse to leave not realizing what he’s making Robyn look like. Robyn says she doesn’t get him very long either. Kody just lies. I believe he had Adult ADHD or bipolar or something besides just narcissistic. He flit farts around too much. And what’s with the gloves?
I don't get how Janelle can call Kody her best friend, when he treats her kids like he does....you treat my kids like Kody treats Janelle's kids, is a line too far.

What John said about the Halloween costumes is hilarious. When I first saw Robin I thought Kody has switched into a Cleopatra costume at first. Robin looked so masculine and Kody so feminine.

Kody and Robyn's LLC company name (DABSARK) is his and Robyn's initials along with their children's initials. (Dayton, Aurora, Breanna, Solomon, Arianna, Robyn, Kody) And he wonders why his relationship is strained with the majority of his children. Shady stunts like that play a part.
Off topic, but The Office thing made me think of it... Didn't Robyn have a picture made that rewrote history and made it look like Kody was the bio dad to her first 3? Or like she was with the family from the beginning? Like Michael Scott did with the holiday card? 🤣 If so why do people never talk about this?! Seems so crazy to me! And my husband adopted my first born, so I do get the desire to be an in tact family, but.... she cray.

Actually Robin WAS wrong when she told Cody to get back over there and camp out at the house. At that point, Christine had kicked Cody out and didn’t want him there anymore for sleepovers. To tell him to camp out there is actually disrespectful.
Also as far as getting rid of the person who brought covid into the home…. I just saw a pic on Reddit of him with her and….. honestly I can’t even talk about it comfortably. It’s awful. Robin is a horrible human being for letting her kids be in that man’s presence.

@@VC_Home4Now pretty sure my 23 year old has been brainwashed by her roommate. My daughter and I were super close. Last year she got a new roommate. Who moved into the house WE got for our daughter. In August my daughter had back surgery. She kept canceling on us to visit. Even flaked on her little sister's 3rd birthday. So one day we popped in. Her roommate basically kicked us out. Calling us rude for showing up in "the shared space" I waited for my daughter to tell her to stop disrespecting her mother. Especially when that twit said I needed permission to come over. I told her I didn't need to ask anyone to visit MY CHILD! I was livid and forced myself to bite my tongue! Out of respect for my daughter we left. I haven't heard from her since. She blocked us on social media. And when we call it goes to voice-mail. No communication for my birthday or Thanksgiving. Crazy the power certain people can take away from others. Hopefully someday soon my daughter will wise up. Before it's too late! Her little sister doesn't understand why "sissy" doesn't see her. Kody has no idea the damage he has done to his children, over a power trip!!

@@Kinnesan I agree. Ever since this girl came into her life, she's been distant. It started with her bailing on us with plans. Or having to rush our visits at our place, due to her roommate needing something. She even bought a new car to taxi this chick around. Luckily she still talks to her younger brother who lives with us. He's our only form of communication. But that might not last.

John has the best facial expressions! Thanks for keeping it so real! Love your recaps. I live in Utah and am always on the lookout for Christine and Janelle when I'm out and about.
I think now that most of the kids are grown and can form their own opinions and feelings towards the entire situation, I think Janelle and Christine have started to wake up to the idea that yeah my kids are telling me that this wasn’t healthy for them, and I’ve felt like this isn’t healthy for me, they’ve started to see and get perspective with their teen/adult kids as they started to feel more empowered to cut ties with Kody and Robyn.
Also too, I’m so tired of Robyn not acting like an adult. Robyn calls out the kids all the time and it’s really immature to me. She did the same thing when they announced Solomon’s birth pointing out the teens weren’t happy enough for them, THEN when he was born specifically called out Hunter by name about not having a good attitude, when we know full well that Hunter has been a great older brother to the kids, just like all of Janelles boys have. Why was this ever necessary??Robyn is not a victim, she’s one of the five parents and she’s never acted like one. And I’m excited to hopefully see in next weeks episode where Janelle walks off, that hopefully she calls Robyn out again, that she didn’t do anything to appropriately integrate into the family from the beginning. Then I hope she says peace out and goes on to live her best life like Christine haha.

I feel like Mykelti craves the spotlight and enjoys stirring the pot. She claims she is a bridge to both sides but she’s not.
I also think she is trying to get some kind of spin off for her own family. So if she plays this character of loving both sides she will get more screen time. She appears fake, not honest and not trustworthy. Tony seems a little more real to me, but still they are very suspicious. Janelle is too intelligent for this. I've spent ages trying to figure her out. She has faith and seems a true believer. But, anyone who caused my child the damage he’s handed out to hers - especially Gabe - would have been covered in whatever he was so anxious to eat.
He is too similar to my deceased father. I would like to tell Janelle how crippling his abuse still is... At 60. This is not a small thing. Abuse is abuse. Emotional abuse blows up your self-dialogue to such an extent that these people are never the same after. Even if they successfully begin a new life it follows. Trauma must be brought into the light and then it can be disarmed.
I hope Gabriel has an excellent therapist and a supportive girlfriend. He lost his future when he was forced to move. I hope he finds a chosen father figure to help him heal.
I thought that was embarrassing too how Janelle was basically begging for Kody to agree that things were good with them and that they were closer than they really are and that he means more to her than she to him clearly, thats just embarrassing for her and I felt it too
Robyn complained that they didn't take her to her room. She did not need a room. Robyn was treated as an out-patient. They did the tests and monitored her for a while before sending her home. That's good medical treatment.

But here's the thing, ya'll.. you're coming from a place where Robyn and Kody are genuine in their grievances. Both of them know exactly what they're doing and that's why what they say contradicts itself. Robyn is outright lying. She has been behind the destruction of this family since season 1. She has laid out the foundation to be the 'favorite wife.' She's manipulated Kody and the other wives and fuels Kody's current descent into this "manosphere" and aggression he's adopted over the last 5-6 years. Robyn lies outright to the camera. She has created this division, she's isolated herself purposely and has been nefarious with the financials. (I mean, she manipulated Meri into divorcing so she could be the only legal wife!)
Remember when they were going through applying for credit for the Las Vegas homes? Their financial guy mentioned to Robyn about her THREE legal names! Robyn stated to him nervously, "Uhhh, that was by accident, nothing you know,..." Then in her talkinghead interview with TLC clarified and said she did go under THREE names to avoid issues with her ex-husband (the one that divorced HER. Not the other way around).
Robyn is a crook. She had tons of debt, she sought the Brown's out for security for her and her children. She's a hypochondriac and as for the money, that's all she cares about. She's not loyal to Kody. She's loyal to the security the show and he provides.

I noticed Janelle's body language when she was talking to Kody. She was hunched forward with her shoulders pulled in like she is protecting her heart. Very telling! Yet she is sitting upright, shoulders back when on the sofa addressing the camera.

I'm team Janelle but the one thing she does that just bothers me to no end is she WILL NOT stand up to Kody. Her sons stand up for her on her behalf. Everyone talks about how slighted her marriage is compared to Robyn. She even asks Kody would you be happier if I acted differently (wth!). She just won't say I don't like how YOU treat ME to Kody. She is so non confrontational and had allowed it to get this bad by saying nothing. Please just tell him he's walking all over your boundaries with his nonsense!
This episode was rough. First, OMG Gabe's breakdown, I was sobbing. Broke my heart. Kody is a terrible father. I don't blame his kids that don't want or pursue a relationship with him.
I'm also a bit taken aback by how "willing" Janelle is to do a "re-set" with Kody and their relationship. Just surprised she still considers him her best friend when it's plainly clear that she doesn't speak with him about most of what she feels. She definitely has that dynamic with Christine, but not Kody. I think maybe she's playing her cards very carefully. I think she has to because she has nothing and without financial freedom and something to leave with, she's gotta play it somewhat safe until she can leave if she chooses to. I don't know, sometimes I feel like she's not going to leave despite the fact that I believe she eventually should when she can. But they're also filming so far back, so today in almost 2023, who knows what is happening.

Oh boo hoo to sobyn, I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes having a heart attack. When I asked the receptionist if she had mentioned that I was having chest pain she said they would get to me when they could! I got snarky because I was in pain and I said so I’m just going to sit out here and die in the lobby? Little missy said,”I hardly think you’re going to die if you are up walking and talking”. Her and her 12 grade education knew best. 5 minutes after I said something, a triage nurse came and got me and guess what?! I WAS having a heart attack. I was a trauma nurse for 10 yrs, I knew the signs.
I have never cared for Tony and Mykelti but I really think they are acting like Robyn and Kody are so great for a paycheck. This just sounds like Tony to me.

I almost cried watching Gabriel crying but thought, move on dude. Your Dad isn't worth those tears, he doesn't deserve you. My mother would rarely call me on my birthday and never sent me a card. When I joined the Army and was going to basic training, the month after my eighteenth birthday, my mother could only manage " who is going to cook for the boys now?" It's difficult to know you're not important but in order to be okay you need to realize it's not your fault. As an adult I came to realize that while my mother could've done better she had a really f-ed up childhood and was emotionally stunted. The best thing Gabriel can do is be a better Dad to his own children. Kody said his Dad gave him $50 or $500 or threw him out. So apparently he didn't learn to do better for his own sons.

Season 15 episode 7. Cody was going to talk to Meri. Robin called him while he was fixing to record and social distance, he approached Meri with his phone to FaceTime with the 3 of them. He turned to Robin and asked for permission to be that close to Meri. It was very quick, easy to miss.
That was ridiculous ! Robyn never did say why she 'face timed' him...and why was that? Why not text or call...if it was important.
