- Hello! On todays Itwinerary we are starting at the Shelton McMurphy Johnson house, a beautiful Victorian area home that sits at the base of Skinner Butte in the Market District of Eugene. We get great views of the area from the porch of the home and continue to explore the area surrounding the Butte.

Thanks for uploading this. It would be great to see a tour of the Skinner Butte park sometime but it can be quite the hike.
We love Skinner Butte Park! It is quite the hike but the view at the top is so worth it! That will be one of our videos in the next few weeks after the Italy/Europe series. Stay tuned :)
Watch out for poison oak. That stuff is horrid especially if you need cortisone shots. Nice video but still glad I left decades ago. Many blessings ya'll.

Is the house haunted? It looks like a prime candidate for a haunted house.
LOL I don't know if it's haunted but they do play up that aspect around Halloween time with spooky, candlelit night tours of the mansion I believe!

Is eugene,oregon safe to live ?
My findings personally are generally yes, it is safe. I don't know official stats but the biggest problem here is homelessness and crimes more associated with that (theft, etc.) not so much violent crime. But I have had no issues and haven't really felt unsafe in the two years that i've lived here.
NO! Eugene, Oregon is NOT a safe place to live! It can potentially be a nice place to visit, but it's definitely not a good place to live!
@@irenemiller9958 Lol. It is very safe. I only died once there, and since I have respawned I have had no problems.
hey hey i was thinking about enrolling in University of Oregon , but is it really safe ? only fear i have is the gun crimes
