I know im a bit late to your comment but i played destiny 1 all the time i would say that you could stop at almost any spot in the game and be in awe of how beautiful your surrondings are like there are a few points during the raids where i just took a step back and was like admiring how just how weird everything was its a pretty game its too bad its sequel sucks
Destiny One and D2 are both like that and it's incredible. Io especially is burnt into my memory as one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen

This song touches me a lot all these years later. Some of my best memories where during destiny. Hours and hours playing with best friends, laughing and telling jokes as we raided and died. I miss it a lot. I miss all the times I spent with my friends. I'm older, we all are and dont have time like we used to. I miss playing destiny with them.

Man I feel old af. Other than Modern Warfare 2, this game was probably my second favorite and had the best memories playing. I got this game the first week it came out and man has it been years! Grinding hours and hours for the best weapons and gear to raise my light level. Never could make it to the light house lol sweats on this game was insane. Listening to this before the release to lightfall is just so different. Not only does it fill me with nostalgia from when I was younger and the game was new and fresh. But it also is different because so much of what this story has been building up to has been around in some way since day one. Sure we haven’t ever been able to go to the swamps of Chicago, but so many other things have happened. I have a never ending laundry list of criticisms of the game, the company, and it’s practices, but I still love this game. I love this community. I love the experiences that I’ve had. And I love that I’ll be able to see this story to it’s conclusion with you all.

And again in my opinion dan bull is a good video game song guy but I think brysi is better because almost every video game song I like is from brysi. And dan bull made a very good enterance in brysi's COD ghosts rap. Part of dans lline on that song was " move fish get out the way, its dan bull and I got somthing to say, a battle feild vet, I been to the baorder lands."

This game... Means so much to me, it started me into FPS it makes me so happy but recently its fallen and I am very eager to see the sequel as i am looking to the sky hoping that it will bring me as much fun and happiness as the original.

Me too, but not because I feel it relates to Rise of Iron. This song is about a conquest and exploration passed long ago. Sort of the Re-rise of humanity Bronze Age. Now things are different. Different feeling. It's more of a high tech, personal face off than reclaiming our system and it's technology. Both are awesome, but have a different vibe about them.
I certainly did like the vanilla idea behind Destiny's plot, and this song gives me chills thinking about that adventure

I came back to this song and relived some memories of Destiny 1 days, now starting tomorrow it seems like the story of Destiny is coming closer to the end with Lightfall. Thank you Dan for a BANGER of a song for one of my favorite games of all time

Exactly. There are probably a lot of elements in destiny that are better in other games that specialise in that thing, but destiny has everything in a package so addicting you'll literally never want to play anything else. It's older than black ops 3 by far and has a more creative and larger community. People say shit about it, but it's lore is amazing, visuals are incredible and is just genuinely so much fun to play.

The game is and while I'll admit that the story left something to be desired I love going on raids with my friends and grinding for days just to get the gear I want. It's worth it.

Friend of mine showed me this song back in late 2018, found out that Destiny 2 was doing a free week of Forsaken. 6 years down the line and I'm still going, I hope someday Dan revisits Destiny to make another, perhaps recapping all the story points thus far 👀
