      Hmmm you may have a point,but that competent tribe started this path by their irrational decision to take lives of politicians and armed officers from certain parts of the country. To add insult the competent military leader from same tribe dissolved the regional system against the wish of other tribes.
      Until we all admit our role in breaching the trust and love we had for one another pre- independence peace will continue to elude us

      Get sense. Awolowo build Apapa port you all use today because it was part of western region before. Most recognised businesses are built by multinational companies and corporation. Alausa, local airport was built by the western region also. Today 35percent of the indigenous invesements is owned by just 2 hausas businesses heavily invested by yorubas. So, yorubas built and own lagos

      @@RichardOludinwa if you are too dubious to check up the truth of what i wrote, i can not help you. Those infractures you see in lagos today were mostly built by the western region because only lagos island was the FCT. Check at least google to know the truth. They were simply developed by the resources from cocoa. Even the Alaba market and computer village were the handwork of the late governor Jakande
      Tell us which of these projects were developed by igbos instead of making up .
      Your Azikwe was also the premier of eastern region, and he could not even finance a free education.

    • @ayenia2736
      @ayenia2736 Před 2 měsíci

      @@RichardOludinwa Tinubu numenclature in lagos development is a misnomal. The receptive nature of lagos indigenes is a complete way of life of the aworis who own the land.This is the reason everyone should be reminded of the need to respect the people. We know who killed Funsho Williams and the reason that was done. There was a good reason for the Aworis to had sued the british government and the Oba of lagos in 1920 in london for misappropriating the land to themselves, and they won the case against them. The owners of lagos are very quiet and composed because the document of ownership is with them and also kept safe in london till date. Awolowo had a good reason for his massive developmental projects in lagos then, same as the efforts of Herbert Macaulay and Jakande. I don't like mentioning the name of Tinubu/current Oba of lagos or current oba of benin, neither that of Jaja Wachukwu nor Nnamdi Azikwe of the disunity and rubbles in lagos today-- all of them are migratnts to lagos who tried hard to destroy the history while forgetting the case is strongly judged and documented against them.
      Anybody who buys land in lagos should know the land was grabbed from the owners forcefully and sold to him or her. Unfortunately to those, the owners have full legal authority over the properties. learn the language of the people and never repay their respect with rudeness--even the europeans had long learnt this and every year since over 15years ago,US has yearly sponsored indigenous US university students to come learn and study yoruba language for a period of 1year as exchange students at university of ibadan-- this is done so they could at least show a respect to the sensitive nature of SW where their most investments are located.
      When you find your living in lagos, do two things: integrate( respect that the land is neither igboland nor hausa land and never try to attempt making it be), remember the owners were never at anytime in history consulted before appropriating the land to outsiders.
