@@glenchapman3899 Thanks friend. It so happens I seen Matt at Peter Murphy Classic in 2018. I was so impressed with his attack of the Thunderbowl Raceway (no first time driver at this track comes out hammer down and on the fence balls a haggin') in Rod Tiners #83sa that I went into pits and rightly got me a Dumesny Tshirt. Dug it out and it has #57 on'er!! Said he brought his motor over to put in Rods sprinter and watched Utube of races at Thunderbowl on flight over to get a study of how to race it. Gotta tell ya, I still tell this story to any who'll listen. Up to speed right-away and no fear. Yea, he bent'er up getting into the fence but not without a hell of a showing. Fan fav Aussie that nite. ✌️ to ya down under Cali fan.

Both his mother and father have raced sprint cars, and his grand father (Sid Moore) was a major figure in the development of Sprint Cars in Sydney. Both his brothers race, and his sister lives in the US and I think is married to a Sprint car driver as well.
LOL yeah if he spent a little more time not hitting the wall in the first couple of laps he might have gone okay. The only thing I could see from the footage the other drive slid up into him in turn 4 of the final lap
