DCEU did make Superman evil though. Back in Batman v Superman, Bruce has visions of Clark turning evil and at first it just seems like a nightmare, but later in the movie Flash goes back in time to talk to Bruce and tells him Luis is the key. We finally learn what that means in Justice league when Cyborg touches a motherbox and has the same vision as Bruce but he also sees Darkside's full invasion, him killing Luis and Superman turning evil. So he was evil but it was in the future or an alternate earth.

Can only hope the devs that moved on have great luck in their new studio. The problem wasn't that the Justice League became evil, as some of its characters have already suffered mind control, but does the game want to explain how Brainiac manages to do this and why he doesn't do the same with the Suicide Squad? Another factor is that if the JL members were to die, there would be a soft reboot at the end so that before Brainiac's invasion it would be shown that the next game would be Justice League vs Brainiac or just Superman vs him, and for that to happen the Flash was supposed to survive and not be controlled by Brainiac and go back in time at the end of the game. It doesn't make any sense for any member of the Justice League in the Arkhamverse to die, not just Batman - as the other members couldn't come back to life either, with the exception of Superman and Wonder Woman who have access to the Sun and Diana to the Gods - since that would be killing the entire Justice League universe. Furthermore, The Flash and Green Lantern could not be successfully brainwashed because the former has access to the Speed Force that protects him from being mentally controlled since the synapses in his brain move so quickly that it becomes impossible to become an evil speedster, while Green Lantern cannot be mentally controlled with willpower, and that is why Hal Jordan in Injustice 2 does not become a Red Lantern by Atrocitus, since his willpower is greater than anger, and even if the Suicide Squad's Green Lantern lost in this fight of wills, the ring would deactivate and even if that hadn't happened, the guardians of OA would go after John Stewart on Earth for killing others with the Ring which is something extremely prohibited.

SLCMOF Superman looks bad in practically all interactions, whether in comics or animations, including Superman Animated Series and Young Justice. Superman was going to become a tyrant controlled by Darkseid's Anti-Life Equation in Zack Snyder's Justice League Part 2, but only because he was vulnerable to being controlled after he saw Lois Lane die in front of him. He wouldn't become evil on his own but because he was vulnerable and weak after Lois's grief, and it's because of this that The Flash goes back in time and tells Bruce that Lois was the key. In Zack's JL we would have two timelines, the one in the evil future in which Superman is controlled by Darkseid and the one in the present in which the Justice League works to prevent Lois from dying so as not to make Superman vulnerable. Superman wouldn't be evil in the current timeline of DCEU films, so stop saying that Zack's Superman is evil.
Deconstruction is good, when you have things to deconstruct, Evil Superman trope is used so frequently it's so mainstream, that Classic Superman, kind, heroic is gonna be deconstruction of character. Come on, Brightburn, Homelander from the Boys, Injustice Superman, Snyder's take - they cemented Superman as evil fiend, imho we need more friendly version of him, remind how CLASSIC Superman looks like.
I feel like it’s greatly exaggerated how bad this game is. I just finished the story and the one major problem that I have with it is that this should not have been the follow up canon game in the Arkham verse. This story really doesn’t add anything to the Arkham verse so why put it in? Why not make it it’s own thing like Origins? Why give us the Justice league but force us to kill them instead of play as them? Just so many questionable decisions were made by rocksteady
The first two of 12 upcoming brainiac boss fights are green lantern and superman brainiac clones, who could be the next ones be based off of, there’s only Batman left, are they gonna introduce new JL members only so brainiac can clone their boss fights? I actually really enjoy the game despite its missteps but where is it gonna go with its story as far as the whole 13 brainiacs thing
Maybe slightly irrelevant here but there’s one thing about this game that I’ll argue is good. The good thing is it’s set in the Arkham verse. Hear me out. Because it’s set in the Arkham verse, the disrespect given to Batman becomes WAY more offensive to people which makes sense but there’s too many people who’d give this game’s premise a pass if it wasn’t the Arkham verse. Like if if this game was exactly the same but was in its own continuity it would all be ok and it’s absolutely not. It being in the Arkham verse means rocksteady gets more of the backlash that they deserve for this.
Superheroes with strength speed and power on level with God's get taken out with Gun's. They could've given the SS a Super Pill or had Lex augment the Explosive Devise to grant Superpowers and had the boss fights be on par with God Of War boss battles. But no guns go pew pew
Nah I think the premise of the plot is great and most people loved it up until the controversies. I think an evil Justice League is barely touched upon - Injustice was basically a Civil War and superman wasn't necessarily evil. The one thing that comes close to this sort of Plot is the Boys. It just so happens that the execution of this was not very well done.

SLCMOF Superman looks bad in practically all interactions, whether in comics or animations, including Superman Animated Series and Young Justice. Superman was going to become a tyrant controlled by Darkseid's Anti-Life Equation in Zack Snyder's Justice League Part 2, but only because he was vulnerable to being controlled after he saw Lois Lane die in front of him. He wouldn't become evil on his own but because he was vulnerable and weak after Lois's grief, and it's because of this that The Flash goes back in time and tells Bruce that Lois was the key. In Zack's JL we would have two timelines, the one in the evil future in which Superman is controlled by Darkseid and the one in the present in which the Justice League works to prevent Lois from dying so as not to make Superman vulnerable. Superman wouldn't be evil in the current timeline of DCEU films, so stop saying that Zack's Superman is evil.
Deconstruction is good, when you have things to deconstruct, Evil Superman trope is used so frequently it's so mainstream, that Classic Superman, kind, heroic is gonna be deconstruction of character. Come on, Brightburn, Homelander from the Boys, Injustice Superman, Snyder's take - they cemented Superman as evil fiend, imho we need more friendly version of him, remind how CLASSIC Superman looks like.
I really want evil superhero trope to just go away because this trope has sucks.
My biggest one is performance, I’m rocking a 4080 with a beefy cpu and I’m dipping to 20-30fps no matter what fps cap I’m on besides 42 or less
I feel like it’s greatly exaggerated how bad this game is. I just finished the story and the one major problem that I have with it is that this should not have been the follow up canon game in the Arkham verse. This story really doesn’t add anything to the Arkham verse so why put it in? Why not make it it’s own thing like Origins? Why give us the Justice league but force us to kill them instead of play as them? Just so many questionable decisions were made by rocksteady
The first two of 12 upcoming brainiac boss fights are green lantern and superman brainiac clones, who could be the next ones be based off of, there’s only Batman left, are they gonna introduce new JL members only so brainiac can clone their boss fights? I actually really enjoy the game despite its missteps but where is it gonna go with its story as far as the whole 13 brainiacs thing

Maybe slightly irrelevant here but there’s one thing about this game that I’ll argue is good. The good thing is it’s set in the Arkham verse. Hear me out. Because it’s set in the Arkham verse, the disrespect given to Batman becomes WAY more offensive to people which makes sense but there’s too many people who’d give this game’s premise a pass if it wasn’t the Arkham verse. Like if if this game was exactly the same but was in its own continuity it would all be ok and it’s absolutely not. It being in the Arkham verse means rocksteady gets more of the backlash that they deserve for this.

Superheroes with strength speed and power on level with God's get taken out with Gun's. They could've given the SS a Super Pill or had Lex augment the Explosive Devise to grant Superpowers and had the boss fights be on par with God Of War boss battles. But no guns go pew pew
Nah I think the premise of the plot is great and most people loved it up until the controversies. I think an evil Justice League is barely touched upon - Injustice was basically a Civil War and superman wasn't necessarily evil.
The one thing that comes close to this sort of Plot is the Boys. It just so happens that the execution of this was not very well done.
