Toto Wolff tried to nab Max like 3 times:
1st when he was in F3, why he was promoted to F1 by Red Bull so quickly, bc of the offers he was getting from multiple teams.
2nd when he got promoted to Red Bull mid season in 2016 from Torro Rosso.
3rd, the last time they tried at the end of 2017 after Valtteri Bottas didn't deliver a perfect season.

I'm pretty sure part of the reason why RB signed Max until 2028 (longest contract in the history of F1) is to make sure to ward off any offers from Mercedes. This is what Christian Horner said last year "I'm sure that should Lewis decide to stop, then Max would naturally be the driver at the top of the list".
I mean, I'm sure it's not a coincidence that Toto Wolff has kept in contact with Max's father throughout the years. And I'm sure it made Helmut and Christian a little nervous....
Anyway, I wouldn't want to see Max driving for Mercedes. I'm happy he's stayed loyal to RB.

if max was merc sponsored driver i doubt he would have been on the main team when nico left ,they probably boot valteri season yearly and max would join the main team from williams or something kinda like russel

There's loadsa British accents that drop their Ts. Think Tommos from down south, whereas I'm from up north, like right up near Scotland, and everyone here drops their Ts too. Pretty common. I hate that we do it haha
