for ppop the amount of mv views is staggering. bini is actually breaking records and pretty sure this mv broke the fastest to reach 1.7m views for any filo artist in just 7hours. their predebut only had 24k in one day while their debut single was like 80k. Even salamin salamin took 3 weeks to garner 1 million views. they gained i think 3.5m in ONE day for this song which is absolutely amazing. they might actually hit the global audience and grow even more. im so proud of them as someone who followed since predebut.
everyone have their own opinion on this new song but personally it sounds so good!! the harmonies, the melody, the dance, the video!! I CANT GET ENOUGH!!! ❤❤

I think it's a good time to test waters and try generic/on meta to appeal to global listeners because they still have that momentum from Pantropiko and Salamin and the popularity where they can release mid-to-shit music and fans still take it. I hope this is just a PHASE lol, they tried full English before but it was not as popular as the latest ones. I also think that PPOP should find its own distinction, identity, while still following the trend and learning what works in the industry. Bini's music might be longer than the current trends but they are not boring, every section is still different (like Karera), keeping you on edge and fully Utilizing member's talents. on this one we've only heard Maloi (one of the 3 pillars of vocal line) just singing 2 lines and one hard second voice, wtf was that. I get that, in kpop not everyone can sing so they made them have their own positions and their own time to shine, some fvcking times visual positions are literally just decorations to MVs. but on this one, You get the gal who sang the Hardest Riff and Runs on Lagi and iconic intro and second voices in salamin and make her sing only 2 words repeatedly was diabolical. and also the hook was to fast for a bini song lol. I honestly prefer Na Na Na , the song still slaps, I hope cherry on top will grow on me at least, maybe 5 or more listens.

My wife and I love their more recent releases and that’s what made us listen to their older songs. This one felt off to us. It’s growing on me after a few repeats but not instantly likeable like how I felt in my first listens of Pantropiko, Salamin Salamin, Karera, Lagi, Strings, etc. I didn’t know why this felt off but maybe it being composed by a westerner was the reason? I felt the same way with SB19’s Ready which didn’t sound like their sound. I like it now but it felt off at the start. Regardless, I hope this song opens doors for them.

Same opinion. It doesn't have the bini essence of 3-4 min song with everyone getting a substantial lines and spotlight and also instrumental is very commercialized bordering kpop and any other modern pop sounds. It doesn't have the unique instrumental of lagi or salamin2. I think the producer being foreigner really influence the sound and marketing it towards international audience.

This is also what i noticed. It’s a complete departure from the Bini we know and love. If this is how they gonna market the group to the broader International market then Im not sure about it. I think this is a korean produced song which make sense why it is like that but for me Karera and Lagi and even Golden Arrow, a full english song are still better and sounded more PPOP. I hope they keep the PPOP vibe in their works but if getting a international team/producer will catapult then to broader audience i hope they are in the right trach and succeed.

When the song was first teased there is actually polarizing reception from the local fans because some thought it sounds too trendy/commercialized and doesn't have the FlipMusic magic (previous music producer), the song got a moderate following from the international audience though so it worked and I ended up liking it but points made against it were understandable. Thanks for the reaction! Hope you continue reacting to their other songs
BINI REACTOR CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
Choreo: "Karera", "Salamin, Salamin", "Golden Arrow", "Da Coconut Nut"
Recommended to watch the dance practice. DCN is their pre-debut.
Vocals: "Lagi", "Na Na Na", "Strings", "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi", "Golden Arrow"
Lagi dance and vocal practice is an essential watch, Na Na Na has dance with acapella practice, Strings has One Music performance, HMTU has Rappler live jam performance and Golden Arrow has Wish bus performance.
Who's who: "I Feel Good", "Lagi", "Strings", "Born To Win", "Na Na Na"
Have introductions of every member (brief flashes in IFG, conference call in Lagi, Strings pre-outro, end of BTW and Na Na Na), IFG-Strings is the recommended watch order if you care about continuity, watch the Rappler live jam performance of IFG if you care about vocal showcase.
I'm tired of bubblegum pop: "Bata, Kaya Mo!", "Strings", "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi", "8", see English section
I would argue that BKM! is better than Strings, it has a dark and serious vibe that you won't hear and see anywhere else in their discography. HMTU and 8 are ballads. BINI debuted with girl crush concept so you may want to check their earlier songs like the English ones below.
English: "Golden Arrow", "Here With You", "No Fear", ""Born To Win"
Golden Arrow has their best rap section, HWY is a ballad
I want more bubblegum pop: "Kapit Lang", "Na Na Na", "Da Coconut Nut"
Ironically BINI's "cutest" bubblegum pop songs are the first ones. Kapit Lang is straightforward and has the best MV of the three, I personally enjoyed Na Na Na MV but it's amateurish so it may be not for everybody.
I want more BINI: okay czcams.com/play/PLwqjRYD9XRFom_9j-cjVRsZE-OGx8N3dI.html
Artist and brand collabs, Coke Studio performances, and music videos not mentioned above.

I honestly think that, at least for General Audiences or people who’s new to the fandom, this is a good introduction song. And it feels like it is intended to be that way. It has the typical ear worm sound that repeats and easy to sing-a-long to. The only difference is that they have an amazing voice to back it up. It’s absolutely growing on me. But ngl, I didn’t like it the first listen. Sonically, it’s the weaker amongst all their releases, knowing they have a spectacular repertoire established.

It also isn't my favorite BINI song, nor even in my top 5. The song had good parts, I especially like the "oooh" harmonies of Maloi and Gwen towards the end. But the song's structure is so weird. The transition between Stacy and Colet's part in the beginning is awkward, like it could've used an additional line or two from Stacey to have a more fluid transition. The line distribution is also odd like Maloi only sings "Cherry on top" over and over again.

song is generic and too repetitive. nothing memorable. but the mv has quality this time similar to tpop quality. their lagi lagi, salamin and karera were bangers and uplifting. this song is not it. it is not a song i would repeat cause the song itself gets old fast. there was no edge or personality shown here, everything is generic. although their fits are fire here, most members' personalities did not reflect in their outfits. joana, maloi and stacey weren't really stand outs because their outfits were not on par with their personality. Joana had so many lines but they didn't give her a stand out outfit, it was just cute and okay.
