    As an Irish man, for the peace sign it is the other way around. Make sure your palm is facing AWAY from you, that means peace. If it is facing TOWARDS you, that means fuck off. Idk how he missed the mark on that one 😅

    Actually, when doing the peace ✌ sign in the British Isles, you should make sure the back of the hand is FACING YOU, and the palm is facing EVERYONE ELSE. It can be extremely rude and impolite if you do otherwise

    as someone from Malaysia, it's true tht we use our thumbs to point things but it's only apply in formal etiquette. it depends on individual if they wanna use thumbs or index finger. i oftenly use my index.
    edit: use thumbs is more polite

    As someone who is sadly from the UK , the peace sign is the wrong around , it should be the back of the hand facing us because it can invoke inappropriate or rude gestures , e.g the middle finger or “up yours”
