- Most interviews are won or lost long before the interview itself.
Preparation is everything.

An excellent resource. I appreciate the very structured approach to preparation. Many thanks for putting this together, and I look forward to the remaining parts of this series.
You are most welcome @Lagnic, thanks for letting me know - I appreciate it. Raj :-)
this is a great resource, thanks Raj!
Thanks Jay! Glad to hear it Raj :-)
Mr Raj. I apologize for disturbing you. I'm a recently graduated architecture student and want to apply for a PhD / Doctorate at Cambridge. Do you have any videos with Tips for CV / Cover Letter....Statement of Purpose/Research Plan ..or templates...or any advice would be appreciated...I know PHD is different than normal job applications or masters or bachelor applications
Dear Iuga, thanks for your message. Unfortunately I don't have any such videos for PhDs yet... but I'm working on it. In the meantime, I would recommend the following resources: Vitae are a trusted website www.vitae.ac.uk/researcher-careers/pursuing-an-academic-career/how-to-write-an-academic-cv along with my ex-colleague's slides on PhD application tips here: www.vitae.ac.uk/researcher-careers/pursuing-an-academic-career/how-to-write-an-academic-cv
The main things to remember are that PhD applications should show you know how to research (so talk about methodologies and your Master's research) and talk about how you've communicated about your work... poster presentations, seminars, talks and conferences you might have attended. This is a big factor for determining who gets the offers as this often differentiates between candidates. I hope this helps :-) Raj
