The sound alone makes it a must buy out of all others in its class... sure some are a little faster but that noise though😍
The SVR is amazing, my dad has the 3.0 R Sport version with 380 hp....and trust me when I say that the torque and the acceleration is impressive...I can't even imagine the feelings of driving this MONSTER!!!
I drove both of them, im working in famous Dealership in Germany Land Rover and Jaguar. There is indeed big difference,but not a huge one. The SVR is almost 400kg more than the 3.0 R.

Most people will buy the diesel. Not everyone can afford the SVR. Not everyone wants the SVR: cool though it is

"Tour Guide Max" sure has a nice ring to it, and I think that the Jag will make a nice company car or the vehicle you'll travel your clients in 😜
I personally think Max is a much better driver and reviewer out of the two.
Never ever thought I'd say this but that SUV is amazing.
Who knew all it took was a 5.5l v8 Jag to make a house on wheels great.
Have one in Ultra Blue Metallic. One of the best daily driving machines out there and never ceases to make my hairs raise when I take it out. The engine is a masterpiece and the driving experience is super connected and engaging, particularly in full dynamic mode. The way that it hides its weight is pretty incredible as well. By the way, there is no engine cover purposefully on the SVR to enhance cooling function, just the same as the Project 8. Nice review.

The difference between this and X3M is that the beemer really sound like a Golf 3 with a broken exhaust and this supercharged V8 is a glorious sounding beast! Much prefer it then the X3...

For some reason the car crackles and pops only in normal mode not in the dynamic mode I just put mine in normal and manual gear box and make it pop like crazy between 2-4 k rpm

I had my buddy drive my SVR and rip by me while I was in my other car. I had no idea how absurdly loud it was from the standpoint of my fellow road users! My left ear has been quite tender for 2 days now! Oops...sorry everyone haha

When a car has no insurance here in the Netherlands, and you take it for a test-drive, you have to put these plates on. Not real blue plates with "nl" on the left side, then you're a taxi.

I very impornt question whoch I would have its about the seats they look pretty bucket and hard, how comfi they are really guys. I have been drivin x 3 m and the seats have been great but the jag sound is awesome. I drive a lot on german autoban and 5 hours in not comfi seats its not possbbile. Before i had a C 6.3 amg and they have comfi seats and the sport bucket seats which are terrible hard?

AutoTopNL review without Autobahn test is like The Netherlands without Tulip fields !
Just think how many of these they’d sell if they priced it more reasonably. The F-pace is X5/GLE/Q7 money, but it’s X3, GLC, Q5 sized inside. The interior just doesn’t look very nice either. If Jaguar wants to charge such premium prices, they need to exceed the Germans in every category: size, performance, efficiency, styling and quality.
I enjoyed most aspects of driving the F-Pace S (3.0L SCV6) except I thought the gearbox was not tuned as well as BMW or Audi tunes the 8HP, and I don’t really love the SCV6’s lack of low end torque vs. the turbocharged rivals. Also, by the time I added features that I feel should be standard, the price here in the US was over $75K. $75K is about as much as I would pay for the V8-equipped SVR F-Pace, but a SCV6 F-Pace that expensive seemed ridiculous. A constant Jaguar problem (which is weird because Land Rover knows how to do nice interiors).... is how the interior never feels that nice and their infotainment sucks.
For considerably less money ($60-$65K) I could get an SQ5, X3 M40i, or GLC43 and all 3 have better interiors, better engines, technology and reliability. I ended up getting a Tesla Model 3 Performance instead and it’s been a fantastic car. It’s so quick, no fuel bills, tax credit and I love the car gets meaningful OTA updates every couple of weeks. I also saved $15K vs. the F-Pace S and over $25K vs. the SVR.
