- Fly Into this Night by Gino Vannelli is a harmonic feast for the ears.
It gives us great pleasure to present the third instalment from our series of live performances at the New Adelphi Theatre in November 2022.
A standout track on Gino's 1976 Album - "Gist of the Gemini", it features soaring synth lines, incredible vocals, and is ultimately one of the Canadian singer/musician/songwriter's most recognisable tracks.
This is a track of particular prominence for us - as it really captured the imagination of Gino's adorning fanbase online. It helped to propel our project and give further impetus to continue recording and recreating iconic music.
It was both a huge challenge and a real joy to bring together such a harmonically brilliant composition, and finally have the opportunity to perform it live on stage.
A more left-field choice, and perhaps one for the purists but we hope you enjoy it!

Who the hell do you guys think you are taking on a Gino song that NOBODY can cover? The Nerve!! But...shit...you NAILED it! I've been a Gino fan since the 70s and I must say this is an excellent cover of an otherwise difficult song. That voice and that band...wow...just wow.

Fantastic job on vocals. You really get the emotion of the chorus. Bass playing is out of this world. Always loved Gino’s early albums because he pioneered the funky overplaying on the keyboard bass along with letting the drummers run wild. Just saw Gino live near Chicago and he swapped horns for synths as you have done. Please keep doing this!!!

I’ve been a fan of him since May of 1974. I was a senior in High School.
Saw him in 1976 at the Forum in Los Angeles.
So I think I know his music extremely well.

Wow! Just wow! I was a big Gino fan back from 76-79 what I consider his best years and you totally nailed this. Not only my favoriten song by him but his hardest to replicate especially on vocals. Since 79 I went punk rock but always will love Gino from this period. He just needs to fix his hair.
