I am late to the party here, but this made me think of the process I used to decorate Clark's room! (I hope you don't mind this comparison.)
We ordered a dresser that came in the box thinking it would be quick to assemble. We were so wrong. 😬 I also ordered a night light that changes colors. It's a fun feature to add some variety to a room where I now spend a lot of my time.
If you have time to watch a new Spanish v-log, I should send you links to an interior design series I watched a while ago. Each video is only 10 minutes long, and I am curious which videos/styles resonate the most with you.
I like the teal frame.
Also, I love the peg board!
This room looks like such a warm and inviting space! You have inspired me to re-decorate my own home office. I would now like a peg board and one of those carts with wheels you have beside your desk.

In our new place I have a little corner of the living room that is entirely mine (as opposed to sharing a desk with my boyfriend in my old place) and it honestly feels like such a luxury, so I can't imagine what a whole room dedicated to writing and creativity (and clothes and guests but still) would be like 😍

I moved into my current apartment last July (4th since 2017 in 4th province) and still haven't hung all my art work. I do deserve to live in a place filled with the stuff I love. I'm hanging it this week.

In terms of the wall behind you, how about saving it printouts of fan art for some of your favorite books? There's a lot of fan art out there.
The flower is actually in my yard! It only blooms for about 2 weeks in the beginning of spring and then it looks dead the rest of the year XD so, I have to make sure to enjoy it when I can! and oooh, love the idea of hanging fanart!

Omg your office looks so good! I am looking forward to the day where I can have my own designated space for my creative ventures! Also, that blue typewriter is GORGEOUS, and I need one ASAP. This spring, I plan to dive into edits on the novel I finished this past weekend! It's going to be a lot, but I am taking the time to let it rest and come up with a plan of action. One step at a time!

Not going to lie, it felt strange to sit and not have to write after months of constantly thinking about this story! Perhaps I can use this time off to peruse thrift stores in hopes to find a typewriter! lol
