The single dental implant procedure requires a few stages:
    1. Tooth Extraction (if needed)
    2. Implant Placement
    (healing period)
    3. Crown Placement
There are important differences between a full mouth restoration and a single implant treatment. With a full mouth implant procedure, the bite pressure is distributed evenly across multiple implants, while a single implant must withstand the pressure focused on a single tooth. The single implant must first undergo a process of osseointegration (fusion with the jawbone), which can take 3-6 months. If a crown were fitted on the implant too soon, chewing and brushing may agitate the implant and cause it to shift, resulting in a slanted implant, displacement of the surrounding teeth, or even implant failure. For this reason, it’s best to wait until the osseointegration process has matured before placing the crown. Secondly, often with single tooth failure, bone grafting is required to build back bone density before an implant is placed. The healing time for a bone graft is generally 4-6 months. After the bone graft has healed, the implant can be successfully placed, allowing osseointegration to begin.
To qualify, the New Teeth Now procedure requires medical clearance and access to a patient’s medical history.

this process seems like a massively painful procedure... is it true? i have to get an implant for a tooth 46 and hesitating to do so. partially due to price and secondly due to pain lol...

It's very difficult to answer this question because pain is experienced differently by everyone. Especially for single implants, the pain varies. You shouldn't feel much pain if any during your procedure, and afterwards please do follow the care guidelines provided by your oral surgeon to reduce pain and help with healing.

@@MoswaldOsley11.Nope. I have a plastic brace with the missing tooth which fits right in the empty cavity. Obviously you take it out to eat but it's not a problem.
