This game is so underrated. In fact, "underrated" doesn't even get near it. It's unfathomable that corridor shooters like CoD are considered benchmarks in gaming while this flew under the radar of sci-fi and horror fans.

Actually if you are totally out of ammo 2 boxes of handgun ammo will spawn even in Nightmare and Classic.

I know. But this game was very good. And at least the cutscenes aren't 30 FPS pre rendered videos. All those Battle Field 1 and Battle Front 2 Optimizations to run at 100 FPS and then we get those blurry stuttery ass 30 fps cutscenes.

This boss is bullshit on nightmare. Snuck up on him 1000 times to try and stab him and he automatically turns around when you're in the proximity.
And don't forget the classic mode. Fishing it was a pain in the ass for me
Before I watched the fight: oooh, a flamethrower boss fight, interesting.
Afterwards: Would've been great if Sebastian could it use after defeating him.

I never used a single bullet when i battled him. Just sneak attack from behind whole time and youll win. May be time consuming but will save you ammo

The first one was harder because everything one-shots you and a lot of the deaths felt cheap. EW2 is much more forgiving, letting you fight back.

This boss is easy enough, However I can't beat him. Weird but I get him to take his mask off then somehow I blew up the tank on his back and he couldn't shoot fire anymore. But that resulted in him relentlessly chasing me to the point where if I tried to shoot him he would hit me. Ended up dying had to do it all over again.

I really hated how fast he was. I tried stealth but he turns so quickly. I gave up and went to sleep
Have you upgraded your stealth abilities? It helps

I wonder if villains were actually became evil on their own intention, and then lying when they got defeated to save their face, saying that they are finally free from the control of stronger villain while the truth is that they are too embarrassed to admit that they are defeated after saying arrogant stuff and didn't want to look like a fool, they lied about being controlled and act innocent as if they were the victim of stronger control. I can imagine when the stronger villains actually knew and sees this and then be like "wtf, they just blamed me and lied after they got defeated, lol. What a pussy"

Now that was tense with low supplies, no upgrades and no save. Not to mention he can 1 shot you with the weapon stab attack.
Actually its really weird that if you shoot on the tank from the flamethrower on O’Neal his back that it doesn’t explode 😂

1 tip. I used all my ammo and the guy just didnt die. After I got killed I just shot em a couple of times and the final one was with a sneak attack. Unbelievable!

If u got steady aim that hall way behind u is great if hes on one side ur on the other u can unload ur arrows and hand bullets and the huge tables his flames dont seem to go over so u can shotgun blast him ... I tried the smoke bomb and trying to stab 3 in a row but never triggered even if i shock bolted and ran behind him

Damn, that guys face would make great body armor.
"The Evil Within 2" was very derivative (it steals from literally EVERYTHING), but was a major improvement over the original - I finished it many times over until I had EVERY upgrade Sebastian could get, making him essentially invincible or close. I did it because the game actually made me want to try and explore more: I finished the original only once and abandoned a second walkthrough quite soon. I really hope we're going to get a 3rd one on PS5: they might not be the most original games out there, but they are good if you want your 3rd-person horror game fix.

i don't understand why he uses the pistol so much. It does too little damage compared to the shotgun. The best way to kill it is with 3 explosive bolts. Just make 3 booby traps with them on the small hallway and lure him in. Smoke bolts are also very good if upgraded to tier 3. This two bolts combined work even on nightimare. Classic mode is a nightmare itself
