One thing i didn't understood, why these youngsters need sex before the age of 18 ? These all are because of the shits they are watching and their idols. Loving someone doesn't mean that they should have sexual relationship at all. Its ruining our culture, our beliefs and every pure aspect of love. Why are we including sex as basic needs ?? Is it really that important as air, water, food and shelter ?? not, obviously not. So grow up children(both male and female), you first change yourself, society will gradually get changed.

in today’s generation…teenagers are sexually active (16-18)…even if both are under 18, the guy will be declared as rapist by the law but not the girl. How is this fair? The girl can file the case after the break up for the revenge, to get him back or other reasons and the guy will be taken to the custody straight away.

We don’t even have good information about nepal’s basic law . Even I found out that legal sex for a girl is 18 when these cases flourished in social media . This is also an example of nepal hasn’t provided the basic information for its citizens.

It's very frustrating to see people saying that these days, relationships start from 12 yrs of age. Are these people nuts? It's so wrong to accept such things as normal. Educate your family and children. Age appropriate sex education should be provided starting from grade 5. Relationships are not just sex. One needs to be more mindful and responsible when it comes to relationships and sex. It's just that it's not only girls that can be victims but even boys. Both genders should be considered while making law. But not to forget how girls are physically different and more vulnerable. Sex with consent also impacts girls more. They need more support. So, if a boy is not ready to provide the support she needs, he better keep his hands off the girl. So, boys and girls better not think of sex until they are over the age of 18.
Unless they get married bhannu ramro ho, not 18 by the way. They can have knowledge about that anyway. It's better to have gender neutrality law rather than woman rights and man rights.
@sikasbkoju3715 Well, I can't dictate other people's lives. It is their choice. I only went with the legally accepted age. And, taking marriage as a license to do as you choose to your partner even against their will is another wrong mentality quite common in our society. In any case, both parties should talk, agree, and be ready for the consequences.
