I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video, I will tell you what happened on the eight-hundred-thirteen day of the war.
Day 813: May 16
Today, there are a lot of updates from the Liman direction.
Here, Ukrainians have largely exhausted Russian combat capabilities and have conducted a series of powerful counterattacks to regain lost positions.
Over the past months, Russian forces have persistently tried to cross the Zherebets River to ultimately take control over the Ukrainian city of Liman. Liman functions as the Ukrainians' Headquarters in the region, from where they supply, reinforce, and rotate their forces on the front line. Despite the intensity of Russian assaults, Russian forces have not been able to even reach the Zherebets River, as all Russian attacks were halted well before they could reach the Ukrainian settlements guarding the river.
As stated in previous reports, Ukrainian defenders in the settlements of Terny, Yampolivka, and Torske have repelled the Russian offensive effort and drained the Russians of their combat capabilities. The severity of the Russian losses is apparent, as Russians have halted their offensive actions in the area to reorganize and replace their manpower and equipment losses.
Ukrainians realized that they could not simply sit by and wait for the Russians to rebuild their strength and had to use this opening to strike the Russians back. However, despite their high losses, Russian forces still maintained a numerically larger force on the front line than the Ukrainians. Consequently, Ukrainians needed to find a way to counterattack the Russian positions despite being heavily outnumbered.
Ukrainians managed to do this in a two-pronged operation. First, Ukrainian drone operators intensely targeted Russian infantry on the front line. Geolocated footage shows how Ukrainians were targeting Russian infantry in the trenches in front of Yampolivka with FPV kamikaze drones. Secondly, Ukrainians used their heavy octocopter drones to mine Russian supply lines toward these frontline positions with anti-tank mines. Ukrainians released drone footage of Russian tanks, Infantry fighting vehicles, and Armored personnel carriers being destroyed by mines in their attempts to reach and reinforce the Russian frontline positions.
A Ukrainian military blogger showed that Ukrainians use these large drones, mainly at night, to prevent visual detection. He also stated that Russians use listening posts to locate and take down the Ukrainian octocopters, as they are also quite loud. Ultimately, these listening posts form little threat to Ukrainian operations, as Ukrainian military observers note that they are easily detectable themselves and destroyed with suicide drones or drone-dropped grenades.
As Ukrainians deteriorated the Russian presence on the frontline and destroyed any reinforcements that tried to fill the gaps, Ukrainians managed to create a localized superiority in manpower to the Russians. Additionally, Ukrainians held the element of surprise, as Russian infantry still felt they had the initiative and were unprepared to form a coherent defense or even consistently wear their bulletproof vests.
Later, Ukrainians released geolocated combat footage, showing they had begun counterattacking Russian positions. The footage shows the high preparation and coordination of the Ukrainian assault group, as they received live information from a reconnaissance drone, as well as multiple FPV kamikaze drones standing by for support. The Ukrainian assault group consisted of pure infantry with no armored support to avoid losing the element of surprise, as large armored vehicles would be quickly spotted by Russian reconnaissance. Finally, after receiving the order, the Ukrainian assault group advanced towards the Russian position along the tree line. They opened fire to suppress the Russian defenders, and after a short firefight, the Russian infantry surrendered and were taken captive by the Ukrainian fighters.
In the aftermath of these attacks, Russian forces intensified their artillery bombardments on the regained Ukrainian positions. Geolocated footage of these bombardments confirms that Ukrainians had taken full control over these positions. As Russians had lost their combat capability due to prior attacks, they were unable to mount a counterattack to follow up on these artillery bombardments...

Ukraine should be supplied with an airforce-worth of fighter aircraft, such as the F-16s and longer-range precision munitions, such as ATACMS (more of them;, and the longest-range variants should be provided}), and the russian military facilities inside of russia should be considered legitimate targets. It is worth noting that support for military aid to Ukraine in America is over 80% and increasing. This is because Americans can see that not only is aiding Ukraine the ethical thing to do, it is the practical thing as well. America has spent only approximately 6% of our military budget so far to help Ukraine. However, over half of the russian army has been destroyed. This is a tremendous bargain by any measure! In addition to this, when russia is defeated in this war, their barbaric ideology of imperialism will also be defeated, making Europe a more peaceful, stable place for many generations --- as well as preventing a new arms race in the region. That is why billions spent today saves trillions tomorrow. The vast majority of Americans understand this. Americans alsob want to see Ukrainian military and civilian casualties minimized. This is why Americans are correct to support giving military aid to Ukraine.
Please write to your elected representatives to request this military aid. If you are a US citizen, please consider writing to President Biden and your other elected representatives, and demand Ukraine be given the above weapons - in war-winning quantities, and soon. The sooner we give Ukraine the weapons it needs to liberate all of its territory, the sooner this war will be over, and with fewer Ukrainian casualties. Letters can be submitted electronically via the Whitehouse website. One can also google for ones' elected representatives - many of which have similar websites. One may simply write and submit a letter electronically to make one's desire known.

@@miquelr2353 Right now, strategically, it's definitely an ammunition problem. Manpower is not the reason why the frontline became so unstable. It was just literally not enough shells, HIMARS, ATACMS, PATRIOT systems for airdefence and other equipment. For Ukraine, manpower won't be an issue for at least next few years or more.

because a lot of those are recycled footage and some are even footage of ukrainian facilities on fire. remember after the fall of avdeevka how for a week ukraine was able to shoot down russian jets daily and then suddenly they were not able to shoot down any russian planes despite russia launching more and more glide bombs. remember how ukraine have staged footage of trench combat where russian soldiers are charging facing down towards ukrainian soldiers. if there are heavily damaged oil refineries then sattelite image of the faciliteis would have been posted all over, Ukrainian media stopped talking about it because their lies would be too obvious

they say the Orcs have taken 110 sq. miles in this offensive; a high cost of troops and equipment per mile, not that they care.
That is the Kharkiv offensive, this video is about the Lyman/Kremina area where it would seem Russia have withdrawn significant troops to help on the new front leaving them unable to successfully hold this territory. This was entirely predictable. Russia, for all its numerical advantages, is also struggling with weapons and troops and spreading themselves even thinner across an even longer frontline may well result in a significant collapse somewhere else soon. The latest weapons deliveries will no doubt increase the chances of that happening.

I watched him faithfully give updates at the very beginning when Russia was taking land daily. As a result of the massive drone attack, which, according to Russian sources, involved about 60 drones, drones damaged several substations in Sevastopol.
