plein air canal painting - quiet spring day

Well team, spring finally feels like it is in the air. Monday was so beautiful I decided I couldn't resist a bit of outdoors painting. So I took my oils along the Macclesfield Canal to see what I could come up with.
On reflection, I think I was a bit chicken! It was all quite intense what with dogs, ducks, limited energy and the small question of having somewhere to be after lunch.
