    No one had ever, ever walked 22.59 miles in a day... until now! That radio voice was spot on... it made me produced a farting noise with my mouth trying to cancel a laugh, and now my socially distanced office thinks I'm even weirder than before. Earned that pizza and coke Mr Larwood! :)

    Personal walking record:
    One day in the mid 1980s, my boss forgot to pick me up from work and take me home, so rather than bother my parents, I walked 15+ miles from Cwmcarn to my home in Pillgwenlly in Newport. In the dark in wellies and a boiler suit 😂
    But I was in my teens, fit and had 50p for a bag of chips in Risca, so why the heck not, right? 😊

    Well done for breaking your own personal record! This has been the best video of your series so far. When you said' Truleigh Hill Radio Station'... I knew what was coming and it did not disappoint! I'm surprised you didn't have anything to say about the pile of skulls beneath the Meridian Point sign. I found that descent along "ocean drive" to be particularly horrible on my trek.
    Looking forward to Day 6. I'm glad you didn't attempt it in for days, or there wouldn't be as many videos. ;-) All the best.

    Although you bemoan walking at the speed you do, remember;
    You are also making a film, map-reading and navigating, viewing the horizon and fighting off herds of marauding cattle. So 2.2MPH is not so bad after all. Most folk perambulate between 2.5 & 3 MPH. To go faster might mean missing something interesting and would require you to have a much faster piece of music as your mind-worm.
    I love your vids, keep it up. If there was an option to PayPal I would join the prestigious Cool Dudes' Walking Club but I hate digital transfers with a passion. Give me an option and I will be there.
