The Orlando "Honor Thy History" bit is a reference to the USL Orlando City club before they were in the MLS. The badge with the lions is the same badge they had in the USL
Orlando's kit is a throwback kit to their pre-mls days as this is our 10th season in MLS, that's why the "Honor Thy History" is on the back. We had to dominate USL to be allowed into MLS, they didn't want us in MLS at all. And other teams (Miami) just get given teams without a struggle.
It's also a lavender colour not white or pink how it looks in most pictures.

In the MLS ecah team switches either home or away each season, meaning they keep either the home or away for 2 seasons. It's because they don't sell enough for the lesser supported teams. Adidas contract.

Trust me if they thought they could attract more British viewers they’d be promoting themselves more here but the marketing experts they have clearly know otherwise.
We just don’t really care as there’s much better football at home. It’s like how it’s very difficult to find a British football fan of a non British club but you’ll find a lot of non British people who are fans of British clubs.
That’s why they tend to stick to the Americas or Asia when marketing the MLS because there’s a lot more competition to be the best league in those regions.

"Honor Thy History" hearkens back to the old Orlando Lions (hence the lion in the logo).
Atl Utd’s new away kit has a Phoenix on the shirt. It signifies Atlanta rising from the ashes after it was burned to the ground during the Civil War. As a season ticket holder it is not one that. I would buy, pretty ugly to me actually. The Phoenix is creepy looking.

Their original colors were red and white. They changes to blue and white in 1979, which was much better imo.
Love the way MLS makes a shirt last two seasons whilst still giving the fans a new kit each season (home/away). I wish UEFA would enact the rule across European teams, better for the environment and people's wallets.

I really enjoy Ciarán's personality, however it bothers me when he doesn't take some time to research the clubs he's about to review. Criticizing LAFC's kit color is fine but they can't go too far off Black & Gold in their home kit because those are the club's colors. I feel a simple wikipedia search would be enough for him to know that.
