Roger Bart is brilliant, don't judge his entire performance in the show by a single musical number, just go and see it (in NY obvs cos he's now over there)
Not as enjoyable as the Moulin Rouge show. If this was an audition, they'd probably get a legit X, but they obviously won't be mean to folks they've partnered with.
It's all subjective in the end, personally I think Moulin Rouge is all style no substance, it may look spectacular, but the plot is mediocre and the score is rubbish. BTTF has some of the most impressive stage tech I've ever seen live, plus the original score is far better written than the rehashed crap you get with Moulin Rouge. I strongly recommend seeing the show before making that (wrong) judgement.

dont judge by this performance, the musical is fantastic, my best guess is that on the west end they have better monitor support onstage, however bgt is very geared toward inears which these arent using, so it'd be hard to hear the track
you're judging a whole musical by a single musical number out of context, see the whole show and it's utterly spectacular, plus it can't be that terrible if it's got a successful west end production and has just opened on broadway to sold out audiences.
There are better songs than this on the musical i watched it myself in new york, plus they have better equipment there as well as a very creative stage design, dont judge a musical by its number
