Whatever camera and equipment your using it is working!! Also just wanted to mention you one lucky guy to have a girl who shares your passion. Not many women out there would get down and dirty and share and enjoy your passion. Shes def one of a kind and shes a keeper!! Better Marry her soon!! Lol. Be safe out there and keep up with the great content!
Thanks man!
"She wont stop shes out of control" haha love it Taku!
Taku stopped. And filmed . He made her work for the clams .and passed it off as woman power
So dope to be out there with your girl who also loves and supports your passion. Good job to the both of you and always love the videos man, always excited to watch them after a long day of work.
I'm glad you still posted this even though you lost the finished meal part. Always enjoy your outdoor cooking!
I would have never thought to refill my holes to maintain sustainable clamming. It's the little details like this that I always pick up from this channel. Keep it up team TJ!
guess im starting my paper in 13 mins
update did not get to see the food eaten, mildly disappointed with my procrastinating now
Then Ill start studying in 13 mins
You both deserve nothing but the best in life man. Your videos are therapy to me. May good health and success follow you both through out.
"No fill, no clam!" Tshirt let's get production rolling
Its insane how watchable your videos are. The foraging portion, filet/process, and cooking/eating you guys have a real comfy vibe thats just long enough to eat your lunch with. Whatever you guys are doing to improve keep it up!
6:29 New England Green Crab "Carcinas maenas" They are on the top 100 Invasive species list.
This is actually the only comment I was looking for!!
Loved your description of how you ate those clams - appreciate you taking us along on the food journey from catch to cook to eat
Thank you Taku for always bringing awareness on how to be sustainable! Maybe in another video you can throw in a reminder for people to pack their trash!
Just discovered this channel. I love the way you treat the animals - too many videos just have people tossing them around and hurting them. These are very helpful for anybody looking to start foraging.
Most cozy/educational/interesting cooking channel of all time
i would absolutely love a video about how you got to where you are now, youre an inspiration my friend
Its good seeing you guys back at The Bay,foraging and loving the good life.Bro,I never want to miss a single video you post.
Knife is life! So wish I was doing this right now! How fulfilling.
Love the Videos. I dig for Pismo Clams down here in San Diego. I cook at a Filipino restaurant by day and fish/forage when I can. My kids and Wife join me most the time also. Living that good life.
Taku, welcome back to sunny California. So nice to watch your videos laying on the couch by the end of the day. I can’t find a more relaxing way to end my day!!! Keep up good work guys!!
Definitely sounds delicious! You always make stuff that's amazingly looks good.
"knife is life" I remember doing that as little kids long time ago...great memories.
KNIFE IS LIFE!
Nice Having you back :) i wish i could quit like you and just start doing and enjoying what i like.
That looks delicious!!!
This was gold!! The taku narrating made it so much funnier and joclyns funny comments 😂
My favorite part is usually the preparation and cooking. Glad that part didn’t get left out 🙏
"Always fill your holes" same taku same. 😂 satisfying video as always!
Oh, What a bummer.
I really wanted to see you enjoy eating your prepared harvest.
Looked like you made such a delicious meal.
Great video man. I especially like the parts where you talk about caring for the resources. We all need to do a better job protecting our world so thank you for doing your part.
Good to have you back..
“Every fishermen’s videos post late at night”
“Everyone forgets about sleep”
SilentSushiCat why forget about sleep?
I Am Thyda Cooking its a joke because usually everyone is about to sleep around the time videos like these are posted but instead ends up watching the videos instead of sleeping
SilentSushiCat ok 👍 understood
Jocelyn is awesome, I love her drive to get more clams lol. I'm going to have to figure out when to go with my kids now. Love clamming. Thanks for sharing and posting this video. As always Taku, everything looks amazing and delicious!
You both are great. Thks for shating.
Loved the travel series, but also nice to see some from back in your natural habitat.
Nice you're back.
The japan visit was so good and intense.
The look on your face Taku, when you tried the fresh, raw Clam says it ALL!!! Cheers!!!
Clams are so delicious. Nice recipe and very simple , keep it up👍
Your awesome taku...you inspired us to start our own channel thanks for the inspiration
We saw about 70% less steamer clams at that spot last time. I hope people get the message and start reburying the young and filling holes. Otherwise it will take years for the clams to bounce back there! Good vid man.
No fill, no clam! You’ll be hearing that from me every time now!! Lol
Damm I miss your Foraging Video and yet here you are Chef Taku just made my Wish come True.
😁👍🏻
Great video Taku and Jocelyn! Welcome back!
M. K. great video indeed
I film hunting and fishing and have a little wildlife out on my Texas jungle but one thing that I do miss sketching fresh seafood and the smell of the salty ocean!
Knife for life, thanks for sustainable harvest.
new video from my fave passionate chef yay!
Watching this with Mrs. Hook2cook... you guys are #goals
I love your content ! it so genuine and Informative. keep up the great work . .
That Iwatani butane stove you use is a life-changer. Neat surprise: The top pops right off for easy washing. And those shallots, any Asian market should have 'em at a deal price, and they generally have asparagus too. Really, Asian markets are great for all veggies.
99 Ranch and Dai Thanh markets near me have live "manila" clams which are small steamers like that, and H Mart has semi-live ones lol. They'll work in the same recipe if you can't get to the beach...
I was just at a Big-5 a few hours ago and picked up the ocean fishing regulations for some light reading ... since I'm in San Jose which is pretty far inland I can get to the beach pretty close to never, but at least there's your channel.
Great video sir. Hungry for clams now
Everytime i see clams ,I always think about your seafood chowder video with the artichoke bread..🤤🤤🤤🤤
knife is life! :D I'm so excited for after quarantine to go clamming!!!

Man ide love to see what you could create from what you can forage for from the great outdoor. Obviously oils and butters and wine will have to be caught in the wild of the supermarket.
Thanks for sharing your video thanks again
If you listen to only the audio... this video takes on a whole new meaning. Especially at the beginning.
