I lead a friend of mine to the gospel, then sadly, because he was a barber and exposed to of all kinds of people, he met someone who was part of the Hebrew roots movement, he became deeply involved with this cult. I used to do bible study with him while he tried to entice me into the Hebrew root movement. He would not budge and I had to stop my fellowship with him. I thank God I was not decided and thank HIM for keeping me. I pray God will open my friend’s eyes and deliver him from that cult.

What was the word? The Torah. Yeshua was a walking talking Torah. He kept the law perfectly! The biblical definition of sin is transgression of the Law(1 John3:4). If it was a sin when Yeshua walked the earth then it is a sin now. Lastly, you’re calling the Torah a man made doctrine? Last time I checked YAH said in Proverbs 4:2 “For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my Law”. The man made doctrines and traditions of Yeshua’s time was the Talmud.
We are to walk as the messiah walked, knowing that where we fail he didn’t. How did he walk? HE KEPT THE TORAH PERFECTLY.
If you willing go Against the Torah that you are willingly sinning.
As for Romans we are GRAFTED into Israel and counted as native born. That means that the Law of God is for us believers today.
You said I’m following man made doctrines when in reality I’m doing as the word says and churchianity listens to their pastors, church creed, and church fathers.

This video is helping me come to terms with the fact that my friends have gone astray into this movement. They were once believers in Jesus and now they won't even say his name. They will just call him "J", but are fully on board with saying the name Yahusha. I was fine with them saying Yahusha UNTIL they started saying Jesus is the antichrist and from the devil. I would never deny the name Jesus. He is my Rock, my Savior, my Fortress. I will always stand with His name and will not lower it for the sake of keeping friendships. I know my Redeemer lives. The name Jesus is powerful and forever!

I agree but there is no such thing as a gentile believer, when you accept the messiah as your savior you are grafted into Israel. Yeshua said I have come for the lost sheep of the tribe of Israel. The 10 tribes were dispersed into the nations but God said he would bring them back. That is what we see today, we are the house of Ephraim wanting to return home and other brother Judah isn’t happy about it for now, this is prophetic. There was always one law for both Jew and the stranger that traveled with them.

Do you know what it means to fulfill the Law? Do you know that Christ's righteousness imputed to me by faith alone (Romans 4:4-6) already exceeds the Pharisees', considering they weren't saved to begin with? You need the Spirit of God to even understand the scriptures and simply posting a bible passage isn't enough to debunk the whole of scripture which teaches salvation by faith alone. Jesus said in John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”

We rest upon the finished works of Jesus. We don't rest on our own works. Babes in Christ might be fooled by this argument. That is why God commands us to study to show ourselves approved.

Recognizing the Sabbath is being compared to a “gateway drug???” Extremely ridiculous. Your arrogance that your explanation is somehow truth for all is very off-putting. I’m not Hebrew Roots; I’m a student of the Bible and I do believe I honor God in celebrating the Sabbath-not for my salvation, but to be holy, set apart from God which Jesus did command. When we have a new heart and are a new creature in Jesus Christ, we will follow Him. We will sin, slip and fall, but a true follower will recognize their sin by the power of the Holy Spirit and repent. God has recently revealed to me how every holiday celebrated in modern times has evil, pagan origins. I have no desire to celebrate pagan holidays anymore. But God has set in my heart what He did ask His people to celebrate and recognize-including the Sabbath. I came to this conclusion with my own study of the Word with the Holy Spirit as my Teacher not because any movement or group told me to, so no, my seeing the Sabbath as a blessing is not a gateway drug. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
FYI, I don’t doubt the infallibility of the Word of God and that He preserved it perfectly for us in English. (KJV)

That was not the spirit of Samuel because he came from beneath plus a man who is in rebelling against God, will not enter the kingdom of heaven like Saul that young man needs to read the scripture with the understanding of the spirit of God

    • @JesusandReading
      @JesusandReading Před 28 dny

I was studying this about Saul consulting the medium today, and I came back to this video because I remembered what the young man said, that Saul and his sons would be "in heaven" with Samuel, but I do agree he's missing more study. Here are my notes:
      2. 1 Samuel 28:13b And the woman said to Saul, "I saw a spirit *ascending* out of the earth."
      3. 1 Samuel 28:15 Now Samuel said to Saul, "Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?"
      • "ascending out of the earth" & "bringing me up"? This inquires that Samuel "ascended" from the grave -- Saul was on the earth; Samuel didn't _descend_ from Heaven, nor did he just appear.
      4. 1 Samuel 28:16 Then Samuel said: "So why do you ask me, seeing the Lord has departed from you and has become your enemy?
      • God "departed" from Saul, so why would he end up going into Heaven the next day?
      5. 1 Samuel 28:19b And tomorrow you and your sons will be with me.
      6. 1 Samuel 28:20a Immediately, Saul fell full length on the ground, and was *dreadfully afraid because of the words of Samuel.*
      • Shouldn't Saul rejoice here if Samuel is implying Saul and his sons will be with him in Heaven tomorrow? Instead, Saul was "dreadfully afraid" after hearing Samuel's words; he collapsed onto the ground in fear, and refused to eat afterward. The next verse goes further and says that the woman "saw that he was severely troubled." "Severely troubled" in the hebrew is Strongs #926 "bahal" meaning dismayed, alarmed, disturbed, terrified, tremble, etc. It doesn't say that Saul and his sons will be "with the Lord" tomorrow. Samuel is telling him that he will be with _him_ [Samuel] tomorrow based on the text.
      8. The woman in 1 Samuel, 28:13 says she saw a spirit/gods (elohim in the hebrew) coming *"up"* from the earth. In the next verse, she describes it's an old man coming "up", which is the same Hebrew word in verse 13:
      • Strongs #5927 "alah"~ to go up, ascend, climb
      9. My conclusion is that Samuel told Saul him and his sons would be with him in the grave -- no matter good or evil, we'll all experience death unless Jesus returns while we are alive (with two exceptions in the OT ofc) -- Since it is written that Samuel came "UP" from/out of the earth, and Saul's reaction to Samuel's words was full of distress.
      10. 18:43-19:07 "The last thing he did was commit suicide..." If he repented, why would he commit suicide after? I understand the guilt/shame and regret he would've felt possibly overwhelming, but what about King David? He committed terrible sin. Though he repented to God, he still received the consequences. His son died, and his life was full of war and bloodshed. His repentance is expressed in Psalm 51. He humbled himself in that process. The apostle Peter denied Jesus thrice, then repented when he realized what he had done. And the Prodigal Son: after turning his back on his father, he was with the pigs, came to himself, and ran back to his father. None of them thought it a good idea to commit suicide after genuine repentance because they went back to the Lord to love and serve Him. Chapter 10, verse 13 and 14 in first Chronicles, says that God killed Saul because of his unfaithfulness.
1 Chronicles 10:13-14 *So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, because he did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance. 14 But he did not inquire of the Lord; therefore He killed him,* and turned the kingdom over to David the son of Jesse.

That's a good point that I didn't think about, That it wasn't/ or possibly couldn't be the spirit of Samuel, because he came from beneath. It makes me think of the transfiguration when Moses and Elijah was talking with Jesus on the mount; It doesn't say that they came up from the earth or down from Heaven, but it's something I think about. The physical body and the soul split at death, like when Rachel's spirit was passing away as she died. I'm doing more research on the subject of going to Heaven for Christians after death, I came out of a cult thank God, and was taught that everyone experiences "soul sleep" after death until Jesus returns.

Jesus is a transliteration. Matt if you went to Greece what would your name be there? Would they call you Matt?
I get your point that Jesus is the name being used in the English bible. And I agree that it is the name we are saved by in the English language. Yah created ALL LANGUAGES NOT JUST GREEK. But I really feel like you have misrepresented that our Savour was born a Hebrew man, who was born in Israel. Who was hebraic completely. He was not a Greek. You didn’t mention once that the other language used widely in that time was Aramaic.
Hey I get that there are some Hebrew roots groups that are way out of line. As well as there are many Christian groups that have the same issue.
What is the Father’s heart is that we all agree that through His Son we are given new life to the Glory of Yah the Father. BTW God is The Father’s title. There are many gods in the earth. I choose the way of The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. All Hebrews by the way.
Don’t try to change what is written in the Scriptures and what is proven in history to comfort yourself and mislead others. I pray that who ever watches this video will get out their bibles and they strongs concordance and do the work themselves.
We have the Holy Spirit to teach is truth we don’t need any movement to do that. It is our own fault when we are lead astray.
