Itinerary
Day 1 :
Your journey will commence at approximately 8 am. You will be provided with a private vehicle and an experienced tour guide. It takes about an hour to drive from the city center of Kathmandu, specifically Thamel, to reach the Chandragiri cable car station.
Travelers have the option to take a cable car for the entire round trip to the hilltop or opt for a hike (one way or both ways) through the dense green forest. However, please note that this is strictly a day trip, consisting of a cable car ride lasting approximately four hours in total. The Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, a Hindu place of worship, is situated on Chandragiri Hill's southwestern side, within the Kathmandu Valley. Following the tour of the sights, tourists can embark on a roughly 25-minute hike to Chandragiri Hill Resorts' coffee spot or engage in additional side excursions.
Notably, the majority of visitors, approximately 90%, choose to utilize the cable car for both the ascent and descent, while only around 10% of visitors opt for the cable car for ascending and prefer to walk downhill to return to the city.
