Dr. Pat Allen is ahead of her time. I read her book and was engaged within 6 months and been married 10 years now. She is 100% correct.

maybe you can clear this up for me? what are we talking about when she says commitment does she mean a relationship like girlfriend/boyfriend or does she mean an actual engagement like no sex before marriage. I'm so confused. Halp.

This woman saved me from a series of self harming relationships I was getting into. I’m a global traveller with an amazing career path but who was feeling hopeless at age 34. I bought her book and I call it The Bible 😅 ❤ unbelievable how I got into a stable relationship with a lovely man who is aware of our long term relationship goals and didn’t run away when I told him my conditions to get started in a relationship. Now, I am coming back to her to learn communication styles because I’m so happy in this relationship that I want to be my best version always to stay as happy as possible. Thank you Dr Pat!

This IS the most profound video I have ever seen on relationships and a practical, applicaple approach to negotiating happiness within them. My jaw dropped at so many lessons within this seminar. Some lessons I'm proud to realise, I was already applying and others that had NEVER occurred to me. Thank you Dr. Pat Allen.

i felt relief when she said that women may experience painful feelings at the 8 WEEK mark after the hooking up event. I have gained a greater understanding of how the 8 week rumination period can influence my feelings and my perception on my past, current, and future behaviour.
Dr Pat is a godsend.

1st congratulations on your engagement. Did your fiancé also study Dr Pat's teachings or did she naturally communicate in her feminine?
@@coacht1738 I found that when I spoke and initiated in my masculine, her feminine was the only way to respond. She was timid at first to communicate her feelings to me until she saw that I cherished them, so her feminine came through strong after she read 'Getting to I Do". She read Pat Allen in the beginning before we became engaged and her language naturally fell into the feminine as I never competed with my feelings - I only shared my wants and asked her how she felt.

@@coacht1738 Well, you know what Pat would say, "Go to places real men can find you, a coffee shop, a church function, any group meet for a special shared interest..." Just make yourself available, smile and maintain 4 seconds of eye contact with men you want to come ask you for your number! Only real men will approach when invited with eye contact and a smile. That Duty Dating movie from the 90's is super cheesy but 100% accurate (Dr Allen helped collab on). You've got to practice letting men date you until the right one finds you!
@@afrojive Duty Dating movie... is that a real thing? Is that the name of it? I want to watch it. And this are good suggestions. I don't have a problem getting dates, thankfully, but it's keeping their attention long term.

Although I know her ideas and teachings are brilliant, Pat Allen's delivery has become so disjointed and rambling that I doubt any Pat-Allen-rookie would glean much of her wisdom from watching this video. She drifts from idea to idea without following through and the only reason I don't find it incomprehensible is because I spent years attending her seminars more than 30 years ago. Her lectures and books helped me find and marry the man of my dreams and I would now like my daughter to learn these techniques, but I'm afraid she would this video mystifying.

Just finished a book they wrote together, Dating Advice for Alpha Women; the book helped me understand this talk better and the talk reinforced concepts in the book.

You can, of course. Another way is to use different words. Yang (masculine) energy competes, conquers, and controls. They do this by saying what they, what they think, and give their opinion.

It just so happens that women who are gorgeous are allowed to get away with more because men fear losing the gorgeous woman if they admonish them for their wrong doing. So they put up with it in order to keep them around. They don't love them for their wrongdoings or "craziness".

This is not about PC culture, I am complaining about definitions. Is her audience already familiarized with her definitions? What about the viewers on youtube?
You missed the whole point. She speaks in terms of energy! Feminine and masculine energy. She mentioned butch lesbians (masculine energy) and gay (feminine energy) men.
THERE IS NO SUCH THINGS AS NON BINARIES cause if there was.. they would be THE MOST FAMOUS PEOPLE ON THE PLANT FOR ONE AND TWO...trans ARE MEN AND WOMEN THINKING THEY ARE THE OPPOSITE and ARE NOT.
