this razor worked absolutely flawlessly for 3 years, then last week, it was done. At first I thought something had jammed the buttoninput on and the battery ran itself empty. Then noticed it was turning itself on all by itself. Then, I noticed it wouldn't hold a charge anymore and only worked sporadically. Then...nothing. Completely dead, within a span of 2 days from beginning of symptoms.
I got mine open using this tutorial; you really have to break those damn tabs; it's not designed to be serviceable.
i think water got inside mine; it's a bit damp everywhere and I feel like water got past the seal on the charge port side even if I've never rinsed it from there. It looks like the seal isn't perfect. The board on mine looks finished. I think there's even mold on some of the connections.
I really liked this razor and it performed so damn well; the battery life was endless. But now that it's done after 3 years...I don't know. I feel like maybe there's better out there. I was hoping to get at least 10+ years out of this thing.

I started down the road of doing this, removed the top blade as per the :12 second mark in this video and it was stuffed with prior clippings and was restricting the trimmer stem from being able to move, so it wasn't even trying anymore. I cleaned it all out thoroughly and it started right back up. Thank you for the video, as I wouldn't have known to do this otherwise. Saved me ~$80 as I was ready to go buy another one. Great trimmers when they're working!

Bought mine 1y ago when I visited the US. 100 bucks but ok, seems fair for a trimmer you’ll probably use for “5-8 years”. Started turning itself on about a month ago, now it won’t charge or turn on. It’s a shame really cause I use it at least 2x a week, and I’m not from the US so I don’t have access to guarantee or stuff like that so it’s a 100 bucks thrown in the garbage 🤡

Me too buddy, came here to see if I could fix it, I couldn't. At least I got more than half a year out of mine. I don't think this model is very waterproof

    Thanks❤
However if you need to access just the switch you don’t have to deal with clips and destroying too much the transparent shell. You can access the switch by removing the black plastic cover over it which is attached to 4 small plastic pins you can lift the cover slightly and keep them intact, then you see a rubber membrane kept in place by a metal ring, remove the ring and the membrane and here’s your switch waiting for WD40. Anyway thanks for the video as I would never ever got inside!.

Mine worked fine for 5 years then one day it felt from the counter and never worked again.
Ok, i am not supposed to drop it but i can't help but feeling it should had been built a bit more sturdy.

My only input would be to use some proper electronic switch cleaner rather than WD40.. It obviously worked in this case and handy if thats all you have. Anyway great video to help show the breakdown,
