horrible senetence structure everywhere. anyway, my pc is capable of running any game on max graphics. I'm currently playing skyrim with 17 graphics-related mods. I also played bioshock infinite on my pc, also on maxed out graphics. however, i did not enjoy the game that much. it wasnt bad, but i felt like the game fell short of a really good game in several ways. i spent the majority of the game searching every nook and cranny of every area just to find all the gold, items, powerups and audio recordings. that wasnt fun at all. running around and spamming the e button on every conceivable surface is boring. if i didnt do so, i wouldnt have been able to obtain the audio recordings, which are necessary to witness the majority of the story. i also wouldve had weaker guns and abilities if i didnt spend all that bloody time search. the actual combat itself was alright, and the world and art direction was amazing. however, i didnt really get to spend that much time exploring the story and combat scenarios, but rather every single stupid garbage, of which the game was littered with. (get it? littered? k).
You guys can rant about it being worse than Bioshock 1. The truth is, You friggin aged over 6 yrs, waitin for another BS made by Irrational. For me both Bioshock and Infinite, are equaly great.

*Spoilers* To be exact, booker is also comstock, you see they are to versions of the same person, if he takes the baptism he becomes comstock, if not he becomes booker, and they have to kill him before he get's baptised, in order to stop the loop, as you see in the start booker's has been there a lot of times before, so they bring him successfully through the rifts in order to store some memory in him so he realises who he is, and take the final choice to stop this loop the twins started by allowing comstock to steal bookers child, Elizabeth didn't die in the ending, nor did she disappearer, she did not go through the last door that is why booker is asking her "who are you?" and she does not have the symbol on the neck you choose for her in the start. Elizabeth became a multiverse being with the twins that also somehow became multiverse being, the twins are actually not twins the are two outcomes of one thing. think parallel universe.
So i finished it this morning and for the first time in a long time a game left me in a state of awe. I loved bioshock 1 but this took it to a whole new level.
I don't get why this game gets so much praise. It's the typical linear, generic pre-7th generation FPS, with only graphics to show, and the console versions are spoiled by washed textures. Columbia is a beautiful city, but it's not even close to having the same charm as Rapture, and, contrary to the high expectations all the hype created in me, it's not possible to explore it. All the hyping of the game's story in reviews only gave me disappointment after experiencing its pretentiousness and inconclusiveness, and its ~metaphysical~ themes look more like a 2deep4u-fest than an exposition of ideas, all of which, by the way, have been explored by many JRPGs some 13, 14 years ago. Ah, I'm not even going to delve into how the game's back story is laughably set by _voice recordings_ dropped around the scenario _in 2013_. And half of the so-promised plot twist was completely predictable. Elizabeth was supposed to be this great, unique character, but ended up being a bot who will comment stuff upon entering new areas and will help in battle by throwing items to you. Even the Songbird, which looked like one of the coolest and most frightening characters, judging by the trailers, was under-explored. The best parts of Infinite are the beginning, up until combat starts, and then the visit to a certain place toward the end of the game. The only part that actually touched me was when a certain character went on a swim.
well there's always gonna be someone saying "eeh it's not as good as the original" and trying to justify it so he doesn't look like a complete hipster... (and no, i'm not a fanboy of infinite,, i beat the first game around 3 times and infinite around 4, and i can tell you a thousand reasons why i equally respect both games)
Pre-oredered it for my 360 two years ago... got an iMac a month ago, so I just now decided to get it on Steam. I truly can't believe that the day is finally here. Just incredible!!!

I can definitely say I think it is the best story a game has ever told, it kept me guessing the whole way through. I got it in the morning of release and was going to play for a few hours but I couldn't stop playing until I finished the game the next morning. More than one game save would be nice though.
I beat this game within 48 hours of it being released, and yet i still find myself watching these trailers all the time. A simply remarkable game, and i wish i could experience playing it for the first time again.
I have to wait for Thursday for this game to come in the mail :x. Gotta steer clear from the internet for two days just to not get spoiled. Really excited for it though!
