- Scientists in India have come up with a solution to clean up dirty air which will also reduce the country's oil import bill and its carbon footprint. Science minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan inaugurated a new industrial plant that converts agricultural waste to biofuel that does all of these.

We need many more plant like this... which will increase the growth of our farmer. I hope the overall cost of generating this fuel is much more less that fossil fuel

Plant should be cost effective bcoz investment is huge and capacity is less..not equal toh 0.5 tonns and also it is not going to runn 365 days.
Can jute be used? Then we can import cheap jute from Bangladesh to use it and convert jute mills closed in wb into 2g ethanol plant

Fools there is no name called agriculture waste , That can be turned to compost and used in farming to improve the production.

Sir, It is not Oil. It is alcohol. Proper fermentation technique can create 300 litre alcohol from 1000 KG Agriculture waste.

300 LPD is of very small capacity.and what is the byproducts generate from the plants

70 crore is capital investments not revenue expenditures, pls keep in mind ..revenue expenditure here is very low, hence it is viable
