For this very same reason, I persuaded my uncle for not going for a skoda.
Surprisingly, I have never heard such issues in Maruti or Mahindras.
He was going for skoda Kodiaq, and after repeated persuasuions, I did convince him to go for XUV 700.
He has never been more happier. Not only XUV 700 is a 7 seater, but it's also more reliable that these skodas.
7 seater which has no space in the last row.
Bullshit . It's better than maruthi , Hyundai and Mahindra you must be stupid . It's the only car that has good rating .I think you are not upto skoda level .

Yes sadly yesterday while coming back from shimla(2nd dec 2023) i had similar issue, could not drive it for even 10 meters. Once i spoke to the service centre i was given similar instruction to wait for 10 minutes and start again, i did it and luckily the vehicle had no issues coming back till chandigarh. As per the diagnostics it was clear the issue is from fuel gauge and since i was suppose to come back to delhi on the same day i have been told to bring it back and give it to the service centre! Tomorrow i would be going to rectify it hoping they wont charge unnecessarily
They will tell you to pay somthing but dnt pay anything there as it's a Manufacturing fault

This is interesting cause I got my 2022 Skoda Kamiq 3 weeks ago now have 954km on the dashboard. I generally use 95. But I went to a gas pump that only had 98 available and I put the 98 because I mean it’s still gasoline, I was driving far and needed gas. 10 minutes after putting the gas, car started limping, and then a sound started coming from the engine bay. The famous EPC error appeared and then the engine light illuminated. Still waiting on the mechanic to sort it out and explain why would 98 fuel trigger an EPC error. Very frustrating
One more 2022 Kushaq. And yes it's very irritating to get this issue again and again and 95 90 98 does not makes any difference because here those who are using 90 95 98. Most getting EPC error it's a manufacturer fault and we guys dealing with it . Any way kindly let us know what exactly SC wil do to rectify this.
@@MachineAndMechanism I been waiting on a response a week now. It's under warranty so they assuming all responsibilities. Will let you know what they say on Monday. And the messed up part is I did not pay for a replacement car in my insurance thinking that I would not necessarily need that for at least the first year cause it's a new car. So I am stuck taking the bus.
This is why cancelled kushaq..Reliability is main issue even it is well built and powerful engine.. Planning to buy XuV 300 or waiting for new Honda suv to come

In ignition mode all the lights get active. But after switching on the car. EPC light is coming so that the issue

I have booked this variant after doing the PDI in their stock yard. My only concern here is Skoda is now giving wired android auto which seems to be a miss. It has become a very integral part in driving nowadays.

Started getting this warning recently in kushaq 1.0 manual. May 2022 build car. Had to fuel it with normal petrol as xp95 was not there in petrol pump. Nd after that issue started coming.
Sir this is not a petrol issue. I had a word with the sc manager for atleast 1 hour
And no company claims that you should only fill xp95 they only recommend to get better mileage. I personally not even a single time filled it with xp 95. Because that's not necessary

use x95 petrol , I own one never faced this issue . i brought it oct 2021 . adulterated fuel is the main problem .
You're correct technically the changed Fuel pump doesnt comply to BS6.
Secondly the Mercs and BMW users by default will be going for Octane--95 or plus. The Ferrari and Bentleys go for 100+ which is double the cost of normal Petrol.
Got delay in service from SKODA WORKSHOP at Nasik,Moharir Skoda, Car is in workshop from 15 Feb 2023 to till now, almost 60 days will complete, Till now Work is not completed. Getting reasons from workshop like Getting delay for parts not available.
I am very frustrated with service from workshop.

Certainly. Even in my 12 yrs old zen Estill, I never ever had a starting trouble , nor it stopped anywhere on the middle of the road. No technical issue at all except hard reverse gear. So...I'm most scared of such problems

Hi.. I have booked a Kushaq ambition, and I was under the impression that the epc issue was resolved by Škoda, but after watching your video, I am puzzled whether to buy the car or skip it. This type of serious issue jeopardises the entire purpose of buying a car.
Actually i am also surprised after changing the fuel pump once this can be happen again . So that means it can happen in future as well . And I dnt want to give any wrong information to my audience , that's why going on a trip on highway let's see what s the mileage and performance after this new fuel pump 👍
The EPC issue was with the 2021 model. The issue was fixed in 2022 model.
@@chandrakantsingh9997 I understand that but since the erroneous fuel pumps have already been changed by Škoda, and I think the same fuel pumps are also fitted to the later models, hence the occurrence of EPC error might affect the later owners too.. what do you think?

I guess I was very happy with it earlier and going for a 500 km drive tomm morning just to check all the details . So till now. Go for it and rest we have to wait and watch

Government targets to mix ethanol in petrol 20%. Upto 5-10% mixing is ok but more than that will harm engine. I hope xp95 mein koi mixing na ho rhi ho atleast

Yes. And one more thing. I got my car back yesterday itself and company is saying there is a new fuel pump which they have replaced in my car . So can you confirm it with your nearest sc that you also have to change it in 2 week old car or you have to wait for the issue then after they will change it .

@@MachineAndMechanism i took my Slavia to an SC, and conversations with the front desk people give me the impression that they're just poorly trained to deal with such issues and pull explanations out of their asses. The EPC issue is indeed because of the octane number of petrol used. Minimum is 91 octane, that too if you keep filling 95 every now and then, it'll be somewhere between 91 and 95.

Facing issue from workshop.. If any issue to car... Not sufficient infra in some service center.
Skoda Kushaq Petrol lid door has description (& in user manual) of the fuel type to be used. After research all top german cars or high end cars recommend Octane 90+.
If the user has Top notch car (High End), then Octane will be 100+ is recommended (Bucarti, RR, Mercedes-Benz AMG, etc) which costs Rs.180+/lit. This is purely depend and vary user to user.
Hi Pal, the EPC error comes only because of normal petrol which has 80 to 85 octane, as per pre-requisites the user should be using 95 or above octane level fuel

We are living in India and not everywhere, everytime this high octane petrol will be available, why only this car is having craving for high octane petrol and all other cars don't have such an issue

Actually 95 octane is available it's the person who doesn't know how to operate a car like skoda . You are only fit for cheap quality cars like maruthi , Hyundai and Mahindra these cars require cheap petrol,kerosene or even illegally fit an lpg cylinder and one day it will explode and the car can be sold on for scrap 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
