Yes, please do not include any data, good or bad, about patients treated with HCQ but not reporting how much Zinc was also taken by those patients with it.
I understand the greatest benefit of HCQ has been understood to be when it is administered with zinc in early onset to facilitate zinc uptake into cells to interfere with or halt the virus’s replication. I have no idea why HCQ would be prescribed without zinc for prophylactic purposes or for early treatment when symptoms first appear not why studying its effectiveness without careful reporting of concurrent dosage of zinc.

In Australia the health response has remained unpolitical, a bit of push and pull over other issues , mostly the federal government wanting states to open all borders and states pushing back saying if one state has cases the border should be shut even if only a few cases. None? by any chance? which means that these stats agree entirely with previous assessments that Hydroxychloroquin on it's own (whether administered early or not)has little or no effect, however there are many studies that have shown the results to be considerably different when the other two components (Azithromycin Anti-biotic and Zinc as a cell entry blocker) have been included. So could we ask one more time (as this has been raised many times with you) a survey, test, analysis, and results of trials when all three componenets are used at a very early stage of Covid, get those results from intensive studies and we will be listening.

This study about HCQ is not particularly interesting / relevant as the protocol did not include zinc. HYdrozychloroquine is not the potent drug - it acts only to allow zinc to enter the cells. It is the zinc (in doses of at least 50mg per day) that prevents viral replication in side the cells. A huge percentage of the UK population is zinc deficient, as foods are grown fast and in nutrient depleted soil.

Spot on Wayne, it's been known for months that HCL(Ionophore) is part of a tri pack, together with azithromyacin(antibiotic) and Zinc is a valuable treatment when used in the primary stages. Another tri pack is Ivermectin(ionophore) doxycyclin(antibiotic) and Zinc which seems to be more efficacious than HCL in the opinion of prof. Thomas Borody, who gave us the helicobacter pylori bacteria(responsible for peptic ulcers) and it's simple treatment of two antibiotics and a strong antacid-a legend now in the world of medicine. Ionophores work exactly as Wayne describes. Ivermectin should not be given to pregnant nor lactating mothers. Both of these treatments have met with unbelieveable resistance from big pharm as they are cheap, have worlwide availability and threaten the new expensive drugs rolled out by them. I nearly forgot to mention that Ivermectin is a veterinary drug associated with scabies and worming and anyone can purchase it, although it has, of course only to be used by appropriately trained people. I'm sure you will want to research this one for yourselves.

The reason why hydroxychloroquin doesn’t work on people with auto immune diseases is the same reason it doesn’t work in the later stages of covid - because the damage is already done through the inflammation/cytosine storm. Hydroxy chloroquine works in the early stages (before the inflammation) on the stage of, as you said, not letting the virus into the cells.

The info is compartmentalized. It would take years to overcome red tape. Bravo for sharing this big data set. Lots of good can come from it I’m sure. Would like to see informatics and machine learning used to find patterns in big data we cannot discern with our research questions. Perfectly suited for this type of data set.

Other people have told me that when they went back for a second series of treatment at the same hospital couldn't find their previous treatment records.

At least they are studying the right question, but haven't we been through this before with The Lancet? Didn't they retract an article before based on entirely bogus data?
We have seen money wasted on completely bogus controlled studies giving toxic doses and studying the medication in cases in the later stages of the disease. And now, we have the definitive study that is observational and not a placebo controlled study that does not accompany the medication with zinc and erythromycin, as the proponents of the therapy suggest is effective, and we claim that is the last word. That's science, don't you know.
I understand there was just a paper published in India claiming efficacy of HCQ. So, let The Lancet go argue with them. The Lancet has lost all credibility on this subject.
Ivermectin works better, anyway. So, take that instead, before the pharmaceutical lobby comes out with misinformation on that one, as well.
