Rico was surrendered to a South Carolina emergency veterinarian last week after someone stepped on him. At the time, tiny Rico was given a 50/50 chance of survival. The puppy’s first update three days later has given guarded hope for his survival.

Ms. Herstling, Angels are not to be confused with or compared to people who do works of compassion. They are tremendously awe inspiring-even intimidating, and powerful beings that could make anyone faint at the sight of one of them. As is recorded in the Bible in the first chapter of the book of Ezekiel, and in Daniel 6:21 and 8:15-18, even men favored by the Most High and Eternal One were stupefied and stilled at the sight of one of them, and even the fiercest and most dangerous of animals are no match for even one of them. Despite this reality, people have been misled to believe that they are something very different from what they are, and like a fairy from an imaginary fairytale. They can certainly be benevolent and gentle, but they are not like a human like female with wings!

Heartbreaking. Very glad this lovely little baby angel puppy was rescued from that evil person. You can see how this precious darling was in so much pain and the wonderful healing dog sensed that and stayed by his side. God is watching over all of them and their rescuers. When my sister-in-law got her puppy, he was so tiny I actually thought he was a toy dog. He was so cute and very fragile like Rico. He used to sit on her neck under her thick hair all the time and he felt safe there. I think it's awesome that Rico is getting that same feeling with you. God speed

What was so heartless about the people that stepped on him? I think they did the right thing by taking him to an emergency hospital. If they cvouldn't afford the expenses, they surrendered it. They did the right thing. I don't understand what was so heartless about it. Accidents happen. I'm sure the owner was devastated about what happened. And why was the vet heartless?

@@mikeveis2395 It is so sad how many people hurt animals everyday. I want to open a sanctuary for animals who have been hurt by humans, dogs who are old or sick and people throw them out like trash. Or they leave them outside with no food or water in the rain and snow and shelter.
