This video was such a wonderful Christmas gift. The old skates and skaters lantern, the old Christmas books, children's games and toys . Love the old ticking and quilts, the kitchen accessories. All so wonderfully displayed. I will watch this again and again. Thank you . Happy Holidays
What a heart warming blessing as those of us, who are drawn to these pieces that our ancestors used in their daily lives, now pay tribute to the people who lived before us and give these ordinary pieces a place of honor in our homes in the 21st century! It’s kinda like saying….we haven’t forgotten you ……you helped build this country and we appreciate you.
@@1824walkerfarmhouse We still have workers here fixing up the bathroom. Stairs and hall covered in plastic, front doors open ( so far 1 mouse),plastic blocking off hallways….🤷🏻♀️

Thank you! We believe the banister was an addition to the house...by addition probably the 1850's. The joint isn't that great where they are attached and I read once the lady of the house would do a repair or cover up with cloth...makes a conversation piece during a farm tour. Good eyes! Thanks for being here!
