Yes, it was, and to the surviving children, the "boogeyman" was very real that day. It hasn't been mentioned much at all but I'm sure most of them will be psychologically scarred for many years to come. Will the Government pay for those years of counselling the children and the adults will need? I somehow doubt it, but you can be assured the perpetrator will get the best mental health help available, all free.

A beautiful eulogy, so impassioned and must have been difficult to deliver without breaking down. I'm a 72yr old man, and not given to emotions, but now in tears. Do not support riots, but understand the anger. Starmer and the others are wrong, it is not far right it is ordinary people, us, who've had enough. Enough of useless and weak politicians, two-tier policing who've lost sight of real crime. A police force and judiciary no longer fit for purpose. We want our Nation back to its true British values. The authorities are sitting on a tinder box if they do not listen to us and change their ways. No politician is above its electorate, and the betrayal our police and judiciary to us has created widespread loss of faith, suspicion and total dislike of them. The entire ruling system is rotten to the core. Surely, there is one or more politicians who understands the plight we are in, and has the balls to put his/her (their) head (s) above the parapet.
PS. The so called Far Right isn't a worry. It is the Left and especially the Far Left who are dangerous and leading the UK to a Communist style dictatorship.
